  • Liz's love life was messy and problematic, but when she supported a cause, she put her all into it and wasn't afraid to speak up. I respect her for that.

Fun fact: Elizabeth Taylor kissed me when I was a baby ❤

Fun fact: My Italian aunt who lived at the time in Canada worked in a designer shop that made the famous yellow wedding dress she wore to her marriage to Burton. She helped with making the dress.
  • I was up front at one of Ms Taylor's perfume promos and they had questions for her. A rude lady ask who her fav lover was.? Liz arrogantly said " ohhhh wouldn't you like to know??!!!" I almost fell out of my chair laughing and she smiled and winked at me. Then we burst out laughing the same time but no one else was!! It was so fun and she looked beautiful in all white silk pantsuit holding her white dog " Sugar"
  • can not imagine being married that amount of times. How emotionally exhausting
  • Elizabeth was stunningly gorgeous, and she may not have lived a perfect life, but who does. She did a great deal of goodness with charities, and she was a very loyal friend. She lived life on her own terms, so good for her. I miss you, Elizabeth.

When I think of Elizabeth Taylor.....I remember her for her amazing humanitarian work and for being an incredible business woman. While she was very attractive...that isn't doing her justice. She was more than a pretty face. She truly cared about people and causes.

I wish this kind of classic beauty would come back into style/fashion.
  • @PokhrajRoy.
She’s been an icon for everyone across the board.

I’m currently reading this book called “The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo” and knowing what I know about Elizabeth Taylor based on public information. I could tell the book is a lot inspired by her and Marilyn Monroe, especially the JFK rumors.
  • She was one of the too few who defended Michael Jackson … as everyone else was too afraid to loose their entertainment contracts … I so love her for that. She also introduced him to his first Christmas experience where they both got to act like children opening presents … she was such a gift in his life at the time when the establishment was working overtime to destroy him.
  • There's an effect that's felt from staring at Elizabeth Taylor. Almost like being captivated. Hypnotized. Lulled. If she were a mermaid or siren, she'd be dangerous. No wonder she threw men away like leftover food.... it's because she COULD. The dark hair, violet colored eyes & double lashes with the cute high forehead. Like a smoldering angel. Just. STUNNING legendary beauty.

I love how Michael Jackson recognized the beauty and grace of Liz.

Addictions, weight, multiple marriages do not matter because when the rubber hit the road, she stood up for Jews, gays, Blacks and anyone with AIDS. She helped when others were fearful. On stage or on screen she was transfixing, and she used that to help others.
  • Where was her mother when she went to these parties? Sad when your parents give up their responsibility of their child to a studio.

I appreciate you pointing out that affairs with a 15 year is abuse. Thank you!! ❤🎉😊
  • Elizabeth Taylor was absolutely breathtaking in the movie 'A Place In the Sun'. 'Giant', 'Cat on a Hot Tin Roof' and 'The Sandpiper' are my other Elizabeth Taylor favorites.

Fun Fact 🤍 Elizabeth would sit in the bath after doing her makeup and let the steam set it for her. I did this in the shower as a teenager before I ever knew anything about her! I’m also a 2/27 baby ♥️
