My personal theory is stone was rich (since he knew about the pageant and said it was only for rich people plus he seemed the best dressed out of the three in their rich outfits) and my guess based on what vinnie said is that he ran away from home when he was young and they found him then. Idk tho just my theory

It's a Canon thing that the two detectives are Tre and Maroon. Tre is the detective and Maroon is Tre's bodyguard. The girl with the pink hair is Arville: Stone's older sister, which she is a some sort of candy dealer or something while candy is prohibited from Ramshackle.

The detective is Tré, Stone’s childhood rival, and his bodyguard, Maroon (I think she is Skip’s cousin?). Tré’s father is chief of police and Maroon used to be one of his fathers cops. Tré is a police officer in training too. I hope he’s funny as in the “sincerely me” video

I think the expression vinnie has at the thought of maggot being left alone is to do with her being abandoned when she was born (as stone says in the webcomic [direct quote: ‘at least my parents didn’t abandon me as soon as i came out the womb])

I like to think that vinnie grew up in an orphanage and when she reached a certain age she either A: got kicked out for bad behavior B: aged out of the system so she got kicked out or C: ran away from it

Honestly I want backstory on all of them. Skipp being my fav I obvi want his backstory, but I want them all. It seems like Vinnie is the leader who started the whole thing, then found Skipp, then found Stone. I wanna know what all their lives were like before this point. Stone seems like he used to be rich based on his outfits and even attitude, Skipp has an instrument that he either had before or stole and he's got a pure lil heart, and Vinnie seems like she's been at this for a while like she knows how things roll

Tre and maroon are the two detective looking characters and i think i lve seen the pink haired character before, i do know stone has a sister named arville and i beleive she has pink hair but im not super sure she made it into the final show

Personally I would like to see a episode or at least a part about stone's backstory. We did get a reference of him being found in the rain on the curb. I want to know what caused/happened to cause that.

My Theroy for vinnie is that she was a mistake and her parents put her up for adoption. She probably spent years in the orphanage until she aged out, which makes her 18 currently.
