Maher expresses how relieved he is that he didn’t get drafted… but then advocates for draft for others 🙄

We gave the arms dealer for a basketball player You’re telling me we can’t get a journalist out?
  • I have literally never heard a human being say they love Nancy Pelosi until now. Same with Mitch McConnell
  • If we can automatically register people for the draft, we can certainly automatically register people for to vote. This country’s priorities are completely messed up.

If Bill Maher was young enough to be drafted, he'd be completely against this bill.

It's amazing how mind numbingly simplistic Chris Matthews opinions are.
  • I used to watch Chris Matthews about 23 years ago in college, and he was always so sharp with his historical and political reference, but man, he is showing his age. The references he throws out now seem almost like non sequiturs.

Why do they have a "D" democrat next to Tulsi's name??? She left the party!
  • As a veteran, she’s correct. You don’t want people there who don’t want to be there.
  • This was good, nice and hard hitting. I like the disagreement, and the different points of view.
  • The saddest part of the debate last night is knowing that George Carlin will not be here to make a killer stand up about it

I remember when Bill used to like Assange. That changed in 2016 when wikileaks started exposing Hillary's shenanigans.

Wow, didn't know Bill was almost 70. Guess not having kids really does keep you looking younger.
  • The only acceptable way to teach religion in public schools is in history, literature, and comparative religion courses.
  • The fact that he was glad he wasn't drafted in 73 and then berates genZ for not volunteering is totally hypocritical
  • I was called into the pre-draft back when we still had conscription in Sweden. Physique test, IQ test, physical, interview, the whole shebang. The interview with the recruiter was the final hurdle before going to basic training. The first thing he asks me is "do you want to do this?" I told him "no, not really" and he said "OK, I'll just put you in the reserves then" and sent me home. One of the best days of my life, to be honest.
