American to drink on a cold day. Italian for desert
  • Italians: β€œHot chocolate literally means hot chocolate. It looks like a chocolate bar was straight up melted into a cup with a little bit of milk in it” Americans β€œHot chocolate = Hot Chocolate Milk”
  • I love how each country has its version of hot chocolate. In Mexico its made with a chocolate and sugar block. For the liquids we use milk or water. The taste is much more floral; In some parts of Mexico they even add spices like chilis, cinnamon and vanilla. Its very reminiscent of my childhood, yet I'm dying to try the Italian one. I'm 100% sure ill be able to knock out like 3 cups since im a serious chocolateholic.

The Italian one is too much, I would only be able to have a couple sips, I prefer the American one with whipped cream n cinnamon!

I'm going for a Mexican/Italian version. Love the thickness on the Italian version with a mix of mexican cinnamon chocolate & dark chocolate to enjoy my churros. Thanks for the recipes Emma!

The weather has just started to turn towards winter here, so either of these would be a gods sent gift. Personally love the Italian style more. The rich flavour and texture is amazing
  • I definitely want to try the Italian hot chocolate but maybe in an espresso cup size lol
  • @Fantasvale
I'm italian so... 😜 But actually I prefer a version in between. I like It thicker than the American one but less thick that the one you made. You have to drink It not eat it with a spoon.
  • I tried the Italian one and guys it’s so GOOODD and I will try it again for sure !!
