== About Me ==
Hello! I'm Ashley, a travel enthusiast who loves to explore and share everything I learn along the way. I have traveled to over 70 countries and have made if my mission to dig into the culture, history, food, and language as much as I can. I not only want to share my passion for the world but also encourage my viewers to get out and experience it for themselves. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to inspire others to challenge their miss conceptions and step out of what makes them comfortable in hopes of trying or experience something new that may change their life forever.

Be sure to subscribe to my YOUTUBE channel to catch all that I’m up

  • My husband wasn't a traveler, and he started to see your videos and we started to travel so much more. You inspire people! From all over the world! Never forget that.
  • Get a job as an English teacher at an academy. It’s usually part time and would help you with visas. πŸ˜€
  • Ash, I am a 54 year old Australian woman who is now single for the first time in my life. Travel is my absolute passion, so now I am facing continuing my journey solo. YOU, gorgeous young lady, have been an inspiration to me to face my fears, step out of my comfort zone, & get back into exploring this wonderful world of ours! Chin up Ash, you are a strong, beautiful & intelligent woman...you've got this!!!!! Sending much love from Melbourne, Australia. xxxxxx
  • You are brave! Keep going, it will work out! You built this channel at your lowest and you got so far already! ❀

A couple of people I follow on Youtube have mentioned recently that their views and growth have slowed or even sunk for some reason and it seemed that for some reason Youtube wasn't pushing it to people. He asked followers to go to the search, put in the title of his channel and then click on any of his videos that came up in the results, like if not already liked and to keep doing that for a while. Apparently, that can kick start YT into recommending you more. Apparently, it worked so if we can all do that for a few minutes it might help.
  • Ashley, you have been successful on many levels. Don't ever think of yourself as failure. You have been through the fire and inspired travelers, single people, and others all over the world. We all love you and wish you the best. I can't budget to be a patron, but you are always on my prayer list. Whatever you do, pray and trust God for the outcome. πŸ™β€οΈπŸ™β€οΈπŸ™

I followed the Way away for years , and I have followed Winging it with Ash since its launch. I enjoy your content particularly when you venture to Italy. The only way I can think of increasing numbers is doing some collaborations with other you tubers who have bigger audiences. You did it in the past on your other channel so I imagine you have some contacts. Good luck any way , I am sure numbers will pick up soon.
  • Don't be hard on yourself, you have set yourself challenges that most of us wouldn't even contemplate. Giving time and space to recognise your emotions is healthy and part of the process.

When I moved to New Zealand (from the UK) thought hard about my family and particularly my dad, who was already in his 80s. I decided on two things: 1. Even though New Zealand is far away, it is still only a day away. Getting back to England in an emergency was difficult and expensive, but not impossible. 2. In life, it's important to move forward. The greatest gift that we can give our parents is to be happy and successful in our lives. And being far away doesn't stop us thinking about loved ones and keeping in touch.
  • I watched The Way Away and this channel. recently I haven’t been watching your vids or any travel vids as much lately. Why? I think I’m burnt out on watching travel vids. I’m working overtime to pay bills so I don’t have the time and the last thing I want to watch is someone else on vacation. I don’t mean to be mean but I think the interest in it is declining. I use to support channels I loved financially but I stopped. My heating bill just doubled and I don’t have extra. Go home. Set up a home and then travel here and there. That was my fave part of this channel. It was relatable.

This is the content people want to see. We want to see real life. We want to know what others are dealing with. It helps us all feel connected and like we're not alone. It's real life. It's sanity. Crying is healthy.
  • Ashley, go home to your family. Get stable, emotionally and financially. You can always go back to Spain later in life to pursue your dreams.
  • @KristenLS
Oh hunny I just want to give you hug! I am currently learning French, I am taking lessons at my local Alliance de France. I never realized how hard it was learning a new language. I feel it could easily be considered a part time job, heck even a full time one! I go to all of my classes, plus I use supporting programs like Duo Lingo and Pimsleur. I am struggling, A LOT..... but I have given myself a few years to become proficient before I move. I think that is why you are so overwhelmed. Give yourself a bit of Grace. You Can Do This! We are here for you!
  • @dsalzy411
Very touching video. I remember your positivity at home talking about wanting to work maybe as a flight attendant and also travel. You share often that you love It there. It seems like also there is a void in a few areas and maybe going home in time would be a good reboot to starting a new chapter. It’s a change of direction which is the great part about growing.
  • @aliciah8041
Hang in there!! Things will get better. ❀
