That worked out really great Steve. That squirrel doesn't stand a chance getting to those feeders now. Cheers

I never thought of using my flaring tool for this. But the actual crimper is some nice. Crazy strength in those crimps.

I like the installation and that hydraulique pump does a nice job without to much effort and the nice thing is it looks like it should hold for a long time.....CHEERS

  • 1/16 ? I thought you were Canadian. I thought you did All a Meters. Oh I hate hanging lights with them dooma flotchites. Yeah the company I work for seriously needs to upgrade the tools we have to use to hang lights. Oh my well I guess if you just keep pounding on her she is gonna break at some point. Awesome as always Steve.

How's she goin'? That's a neat idea to use the flaring tool to crimp the ferrules. Too bad about the vice, but better it break on something like that rather than a big piece that could fall and hurt you. It was interesting to hear you say the squirrels can't walk a 1/16 wire. LOL I like that part!! Take care!!

Anyone watch Trailer Park Boys? This guy is Bubbles but for birds instead of kitties. That's a compliment haha
  • @robburton3255
Good video, but I wonder how many birds don't see that wire and run into it because they can't see it.
  • When this popped up on my feed I had just had to watch it. I use the plastic coated braided wire (1/16") for the bird feeders that I sell. I just use an old pair of lineman's pliers to crimp the sleeves. Get a little more leverage with the longer handles. Bummer about your vise. Put it on your Christmas list.
