We’re bringing back Llamas with Hats, and we need your help! It's been 15 years since the series began, and 9 years since it ended. Now, nearly a decade after the dramatic final episode, we want to bring the characters back one last time for a surreal, fantastical epilogue: www.kickstarter.com/projects/1556971210/llamas-wit… The epilogue is about as long as the previous 12 episodes combined, and the animation involved is considerably more complicated. In the original series the two main characters largely stood around talking, with very little movement going on outside of certain background and prop elements. In this final adventure, however, the very fabric of reality has crumbled away and Carl finds himself able to move in strange and mysterious new ways. It's going to be a lot of work! The script has been written and pre-production is complete, all we need now is the time to finish it. The project is being put together entirely by myself (I'm the writer, animator, and voice of Paul), and my cousin Chris Alex. Chris was the voice of Carl in the original series, and he's returning to voice the character in the epilogue. With your support we can give those behatted llamas one final, beautiful send-off.

It went from "Funny sociopathic llama with a long history of violence" to "Sad llama with voices in his head"
-
“What is wrong with you Carl??” “Well, I kill people and I eat hands. That’s two things”
-
I love how Carl says "you hear that... that's the sound of forgiveness" And Paul says "that's the sound of drowning Carl"
-
I still love how it had a happy ending since we all know screaming followed by silence is the sound of forgiveness.
-
The nicest interaction they ever had: *PAUL* "It's horrifying." *CARL* "Thank you."
-
Never ask... A woman: her age A man: his salary Carl: where the baby hands came from
-
Carl’s reply of “I ripped a tag off a mattress” will forever make me think if that was something he did that was a bad thing or just on purpose for no reason whatsoever
-
The tone shift of "I guess you're gone." has me crying. It's such a sudden realization he has.
-
When Carl walked into Paul's apartment and said "Oh.... I guess you're gone.." That hit me hard..
-
I love how nonchalantly Carl said, "Do you know what's gross??" " Your attitude ."
-
-
"Carl." The first and last spoken words.
-
“My stomach was making the rumblies.” “CARL!” “That only hands could satisfy.” “...CARL!!!!”
-
"It's not a meat grinder, it's an orphan stomper!" Best quote in the series 😅
-
CARLLLLL (who's here in 2024?)
-
" I'm a dangerous sociopath" " oh" " I don't know how you keep forgetting that"
-
Paul: “CAAAAAAARRRRLL” Carl: ”PAAAAAUUUULL” subtitles: [Applause]
-
Llamas With Hats storyline is essentially a dude going absolutely off the wall insane after his boyfriend leaves him, so he makes it everyone else's problem, before killing himself in the end after he sees the corpse of aforementioned ex-boyfriend Or in other words: these two are old married couple coded

"Its horrifying carl.." "Thank you 😌"
