    The issues in this debate are: 1. Should we terminate the IPP contracts or revisit them? It's important to note that the government is presenting the choices as either termination or no termination. Thus the government is misleading, 2. How do we handle the negative effects of bad contracts? The current government strategy seems to put all the burden on consumers while allowing those who have been benefiting from free energy to continue doing so. Affordability needs more attention in this discussion.
