We surprised my dad for Father's Day with his dream car a 1969 GTO. He used to have a 1968 GTO when he was young but had always wanted a 1969 and never thought he would buy one. My brother-in-law, sister, wife and myself were able to find a 1969 GTO, we bought it, and got it delivered just in time for father's day. He had no idea and was really happy, I'm glad we were able to do this for him because seeing the joy on his face was priceless.

  • New subscriber. Nice people and brings back several memories. It looks like you're about cutlasses, given the name of your channel. I've got my son's Cutlass. I like to do what he always wanted to do with it. I remember my boys and me when we took a trip to California and frankly The shining moment was when we were down in the vineyard valleys whatever you call them. All the folks who stopped to gives a jump because the battery is going bad. We're headed to Fresno to get a two more batteries. Remind me of a number of years ago when I found this 53 two-door Bel Air. Six-cylinder that dad always liked. He was so surprised and I brought him his replacement 53 Bel-Air on the back of the trailer. You say we still have the first one way way back when and there's no way that we should live to that. Funny thing is you never got around to doing anything with the replacement 53. It ran and drove it. My dad didn't want to get too close to it you liked looking at setting it driving around Little bit of property he had. I guess he like it just the way it was. But maybe the original had too many memories. You see my being the nice guy and your family been nice to your parents giving them this fabulous car. It brought back all these memories in one package for me. When I was younger my mom will always love to jump in the driver seat the latest fashions thing I had bought or built. She had to leadfoot my dad was a retired race car driver. I hope you called haggerty and got the proper insurance. Fabulous thing y'all done for your parents.
