Until receiving confirmation that Catherine Kane was Jacob's wife when breaking into GCPD files, I legit thought it was Bat Woman by his side at the funeral. I knew he would NEVER have told his treasured daughter and fellow soldier about any Court of Owls activity; to hear his voice recorded as an impromptu "last letter and testament", almost making excuses for someone who seeks to destroy corruption but refuses to acknowledge what's in front of them.. I'm not sure whether to be mad at Catherine or sorry for her. Thanks for coming in clutch with the new drones, Belfry. Jason's traversal mechanic is fun to witness but it doesn't make sense unless "Sky Walk" from One Piece suddenly got transplanted into the Batman universe. sigh The end of one problem was ruined by Talia al Ghul. No doubt the council will elect a new Voice for the Court of Owls in short order, but it feels unjust and unfulfilling to be robbed of this victory just before it officially happens.
