i wouldn't have cheated through university if my professors were as accurate and concise as this gentleman. I want to get this generator.

GREAT REVIEW!!! I was almoat set on purchasing the Predator 9500 after watching dozens of videos... I watch your video and I completely changed my mind. Thank you.
  • @pedroc6823
I was struggeling which one to get thanks for the clarification.
  • Great Video. Amazon $2199 minus $200 coupon now, brings it down to $1999. Get ready for the upgraded GenMax 6000 going up to GenMax 7250!!!!!Compare that to the Honda 7000. GenMax price to Honda price. GenMax great Generators with great features. All the best to you and family. Mike i. S.I.N.Y.

Nice video, though I'd make 1 correction, this is the warranty statement for the Predator - "We guarantee the emissions control system on your engine will be free from defects in material and workmanship for two (2) years, provided there has been no improper maintenance, misuse, or abuse of your engine. We guarantee this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days from the date of purchase. Limitations apply." SO no the warranty is not 2 years for t"he Generator, just the "emissions control system" is warrantied for 2 years. The generator is only warrantied for 90 days.....just a heads up

I am pretty sure both the Predator and the Duramax also have forced air fans on the front panel just like the one the Genmax has... but I agree there are other VALUABLE features the Genmax has that the others don't (like the back exhaust and the oil filter... the oil filter is almost unbelievable!!!).
  • Both the Duromax and and Predator are now selling for about $1,950, so each is now about $250 cheaper. Your other points are valid, but the Duromax runs on propane as well and that’s huge for me. I’m redoing my generator setup (backup power) and the last thing I ever want to have to do again is find gas, bring it back in my car, have my car smelling like gas for a week, getting gas on yourself as you fill it up, yuck, no thanks.
  • You mentioned some things that I didn’t even think about, but I’m surprised you didn’t mention the actual display panel on the Genmax, and the ability to run on propane
  • @johnnyhotrod
How’s it holding up?Im seeing such mixed reviews on quality control I’m scared to pull the trigger on these. Thanks
  • The Amazon warranty is better than the manufacturer's. 1) coverage starts day one. 2) If they can't fix it, they replace it or send you an Amazon gift card for the total purchase price. 3) Shipping to and from a repair facility is FREE! I have a Powerhorse 7500i inverter generator in my Amazon cart ready to purchase. I added the four year warranty for $184. The warranty company is ASURION, LLC. These points are huge! If anyone has ever dealt with manufacture warranties, they very soon learn that more times than not, they are bullshit. If you break it down, the cost to protect your investment is appx. 12 cents per day.
  • @danray9744
Your Not Correct on the Predator Warranty It ONLY has a 90 Day Warranty The 2 year is for the Emission Control System ONLY Here from there website.> We guarantee the emissions control system on your engine will be free from defects in material and workmanship for two (2) years, provided there has been no improper maintenance, misuse, or abuse of your engine. We guarantee this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days from the date of purchase. Limitations apply.
  • All well and fine. They should do what you demo , but the real test is the longevity, and the c/s which for 3 weeks I have been calling and not able to speak to anyone at Genmax , but a girl named millisa who can’t explain my question’s answer to me but says tommy can ! but he doesn’t answer his phone or return his voice mails/ missed calls and this is all before I even drop $2400 on 1 of these units.
  • Hello Javier -- enjoyed all your videos -- especially those dealing with the Genmax. I noticed you had to change out the display because it was not maintaining the cumulative runtime. Do you know if that has been corrected on later production models? Do you know the date your unit was produced? Thanks!
  • @Model_Rockets
I see your vacuum cleaner behind you and could it be you just like orange and black? 🙂Really good info on the three I am considering buying. Thanks for the video.!
  • @timkeaton4599
Does it run? LOL I haven't heard or seen it run yet! Stop teasing.... lets go!
  • @trustme7731
Nice comparison. 1. The Genmax website says its a splash system. "Model GM9000iED Lubrication Method Splash" A filter requires a pressurized system. So, which is it? 2. When paralleled you are still limited to a 50 amp circuit, not 63 amps. 3. Your has a 50 amp straight blade receptacle and their website shows and says only a 50 amp twist lock. I wonder if they had a problem with the straight blade plugs falling out.
  • @raulgoron
Hello Javier. Do you think you can upgrade or get your hands on the new Genmax 10500 and do some rewievs on it? That seems to be the best generator. I love your reviews, great videos.
  • @rebellucy6200
If anyone wants to know the best generator look at what the busy food trucks are running. They use them daily (not just once or twice a year). Long term the Chinese machines do not tend to last.
  • @donhgr
I use a generator constantly for a utility company and I don’t believe that’s a 50amp plug. I also don’t know how well Amazon handles warranty situation, time will tell.
  • @mathfaucher
Good video. Thanks Javier. Does anyone know where we can buy a Genmax generator in Canada?
