I think there are 2 other reasons why M doesn't belong in pure evil. 1. He seems to have some respect towards Bf. He offered him a deal that if he beat M in three songs, he'd let them go, he only decided to go all out when Bf ran off instead of staying to finish the final song showcasing he would have kept his end of the deal. 2. Ultra M seems to have remorse for killing Bf&Gf at the end of All Stars (Act 4) during the credits, we can hear M singing in the background after successfully killing them instead of feeling satisfied he feels empty a bitter victory as he once again alone he even ponders on whether this is what he truly wanted.

I Dont Think GB Is Pure Pure Evil, I mean, he's messed up now, but he was never evil out of the start. He was made by accident by his creator and she experimented with him, which put him through pain. And he begged her to stop. She didn't listen to him, So he had enough. So when someone put on the cursed headset know, of course, as the virtual boy, they are Mr Virtual’s next victim to kill. I would only move Beta Luigi and Devil Mario- like already said, Devil Mario was possessed, so he wasn't in control, therefore basically just wronged- as for Beta Luigi, I wouldn't put him on the list- as you said, he wasn't brave enough to save his bro, but I see the whole song basically as him trying to mourn his lost bro

These are the changes that I would make Starting with all of the characters who weren’t included Good: Grandad Chris Pratt Somari Day out Luigi Beta Mario Nintendo mania Mario (he’s listed as a seperate character from Stanley on the funkepedia page) Overdue Mario iHY Mario And l is real Luigi All of these characters are either heroes in their source material or they are generally nice to others Neutral: Classified Luigi John dick And The unbeatable crew These characters don’t have any redeeming qualities but don’t do anything outwardly evil either. Evil: Omega The tentacles Omega should’ve been placed with horror Mario The tentacles should have been placed at the lowest spot in the highest category due to torturing Luigi by forcing him to drown repeatedly, though it is unknown what the intentions of this creature are. As for characters I think should’ve been placed differently Turmoil: in a comic featuring him, he states that he only eats those who choose to wrong him. He is also best friends with GB. So I feel like he should’ve been placed slightly lower. Day out Mario: He has rescued the princess from bowser before, has a pet snake that he might care about, and might have some genuine love for his mother. So he should’ve been placed just a few spots lower. IHY luigi: it’s implied that he did once help Mario prior to the events of I Hate You. He also acts as the bot play for the mod (though this is questionably cannon). So he should have been placed lower. GB: As stated before, him and turmoil are friends. He is also friends with the game boy cameraman. So he should’ve been placed a bit lower. Horror Mario and MX: both of these two have friends, in fact, MX was the one who told horror Mario about GF’s resurrecting abilities and might be the one who told horror Mario about BF in the first place (due to hypno being shown when horror Mario states he’s heard stories about BF). Horror Mario seems to at least tolerate Mr. Sys due to them being former business partners. Horror Mario also seemed to regret his actions due to the end credits song. So these two should’ve been placed slightly lower. Mr. Virtual: similar to horror Mario and Mx, he is capable of forming bonds with others. Plus, the only reason he burned down the circus was due to the abuse he received from there. He also killed an abusive father (who kinda deserved it). So he should’ve been only a spot or lower Secret history Mario: he should’ve been number 1 because he doesn’t have any redeeming qualities (other than possibly caring for his brother and possibly having been brainwashed by the wizards from the secret history of Harry Potter video, though neither of these have been confirmed). He is a malicious psychopath who will do anything he can to get what he wants. He stomps on literal infants, abuses peach and performed unethical surgery on her to the point where she can’t smile anymore, and killed sonic, BF, GF and presumably many others purely because of them having any success.
