I saw him on tour in 1979. Next month May 2022 I’ll be seeing him in Manchester. That says it all. He’s a genuine Rock star. And a Damn lovely bloke.

I agree with everyone, he is the most genuine, polite ,honest megastar ever. I have been a life long fan. He is a legend and pioneer of electronic music. He constantly changing his style both in stage presentation and what I describe as "Landscape music".A very down to earth guy. Always looking forward to his new music. Went to the Wembley gig and it was piggin awesome! The only thing that could top that night was to shake his hand. His music has been with me since I first became aware of him and to see him live for the first time now I am 61 was an emotional thing for me. Gary is a genius at his craft and I cannot wait to go again.

When Lorraine interviewed Gary many years back she commented on how "refreshingly honest" he was. Gary has always been the first to admit when things haven't gone right in his career but he's held on in there and proved his fiercest of critics wrong.
