"there is nothing so fleeting yet enduring about the way music feels when you are 17 years old" probably the best quote ever about music

They mention “Neil who’s not with us tonight” we all thought it was because his insistence on privacy.....or that he’s retired....low and behold he was battling brain cancer and he’s gone....RIP Neil Elwood peart. The greatest of all time. Including yes as well

It makes me so happy Alex went "bla, bla" again, and also dragged Geddy into it.

What a fitting tribute from two of the most amazing musicians the world has ever seen.
  • These two are fucking awesome! I love them and their swagger and I can't think of two other guys capable enough to get Yes in here!

So appropriate that Rush inducted Yes. I love these personal anecdotes.
  • Wow Geddy's speech.....what a speech, it made me well up. He speaks for not only himself but millions of musicians and listeners including myself.

Wow, Alex can really turn a phrase. And to think that Neil is their lyricist, goes to show their impeccable excellence.

Alex and Geddy’s speeches go right to the heart of us teen boys from that era who sat holed up in our rooms suffering with glee trying to play guitar parts and bass parts from early Yes records.

Nice induction speech👍🏽 Was so long overdue and a shame that Chris Squire didn't live to see it.

Both Rush and Yes were my staples in junior high and high school back in the early 1980s. I loved both those bands, and listened to them almost interchangeably. It's so awesome to see this video of perhaps my favorite band of all-time paying tribute to my close-second favorite band of all-time.
