I don't buy it. She is really trying to look pathetic, meek, traumatized.

I do not understand how Ashley, if she truly feared Doug, would not only invite him over to help her move - the most dangerous time for victims of abuse is when they leave - and then also tell her mom to take Emerson to the park - leaving her completely alone with Doug.. she had a boyfriend/fiancee at the time, why not have him help her move?? It doesn't make sense

Liar liar , Ballet shoe on fire She can't ever look someone in the eyes at her statement....not even when she was questioned by her. she plays the quiet , soft , scared girl...... Typical of course also the crying without tears........
