The Vocaloid song everyone heard... The one that's actually the definition of "heard a vocaloid song but doesn't know Vocaloid"... NYAN CAT
  • @vicwunder3062
Like... 13? years later I'm still mad over my classmates making fun of me for listening to "anime robot music" and then turning around and bragging about how they just set the "song from the Nyancat challenge" as their ringtone lol
  • @QueenLethargy
its so interesting how so many popular songs that people dont know are vocaloid are made by kikuo, who is notorious for making very upbeat songs with fucked up lyrics
  • @grerey717
When I decided to watch it I was like 'Yeah, there're gonna be those songs like nyan cat and copycat', but when I saw the sims 4... Oh. My. God.
  • @pug7142
Don't forget that the song "hide and seek" the one that does like "ding dong I know you can hear me..." a lot of fnaf fans know from that one animated video of nightmare balloon boy but the version used is actually the english cover of the original vocaloid korean song sung by SeeU!
  • @mysteryz0ne272
just to let you know Loituma didn't actually make Ievan Polkka, their version just popularised it. it was already a preexisting Finnish song with lyrics written by Eino Kettunen way back in 1928. ZUN didn't make teto territory, oxi wrote the parody lyrics for that song and the instrumental was taken from the silver forest circle's track ⑨destiny ~zutto cirno no turn~ which was a sequel of sorts to their track kero⑨destiny which was based on ZUN's track Native Faith. drop pop candy was also made by giga with him doing tuning and music and reol writing the lyrics. also the momo momone cover of nyanyanyanyanyanyanya! was made by momomomoP

It's funny how many people know aishite but never seen the music video
  • @thefreakasaurus
wait, aishite aishite aishite is more popular than world is mine now? damn times have changed
  • @kimdokjaco
My challenge here is to find a Vocaloid song I don't know
  • @skylerkeeney3430
I feel like Porter Robinson is relatively mainstream, and he uses Vocaloid in several songs. Even has his own Vocaloid.
  • @Nativah._.
I listen to so much vocaloid and somehow never recognized the vocals in Love Taste to be Gumi...goddamn
  • @frutigerrlover
My classmate literally said "Young girl a is not a vocaloid song!!! Its literally sung by siinamota!!" ☠️💀
  • @spoopyvirgil4944
Seeing Drop Pop Candy made me happy because that was my second introduction to Vocaloid through the Undertale fandom! (My first exposure was Echo. Through the Gravity Falls fandom.)
  • @callmeaweeb4169
Never knew the song used in the Nyan Cat video was originally a vocaloid song but I probably should've guessed that since it's such an old meme
  • @ReiisinInaba
I'm still salty about how my bestie plays pjsekau and not know wtf a vocaloid is😢 Edit : How tf did I get 1k likes for commenting about my personal B E E F Update : I FINALLY GOT A VOCALOID FAN AS A FRIEND LETS GOOOOOOO ( I keep using the fact I keep forgetting names as an excuse of not being able to say Evillous Chronicles names properly )
  • @crescentwid5203
Girl A by siinamota also trended at some point for sad, dramatic edits
  • @JQDAW
I wish you included more of these "vocaloid in places where you wouldn't expect" type of songs/facts. Either way, good video. :face-red-heart-shape:
  • @nitabagels6969
One thing that comes to mind is Insanity by CircusP, or Circus Monster. Those two were the first Vocaloid songs I ever heard and I had no idea they were until I got older. Anybody who grew up with Creepypasta would probably know Insanity
