  • is he singing "my jewish roommate" to the tune of my little pony? if that's the case, that's arguably the funniest thing to ever be done by anyone

Second story: Boyfriend kicks her out of bed every morning but when she suggests a couch for her to sleep on, he says "I'm not contributing because you're the one who wants it". Don't date someone who has less than zero respect for your comfort or even your basic health needs (8hrs sleep a night). Dump him.

11:03 it sounds like the kid watched to many terrible movies where the person on their period acts like an asshole and the girl thought it was acceptable
  • @hdervish2497
The daughter on her period is either being a turd on purpose or she needs medical intervention. I'm incredibly angry when Aunt Flo comes to visit too, but it doesn't justify violence
  • Ok, that's definitely not about the period. That's a girl without a mother figure and a father who doesn't give a shit. I highly doubt that she's a healthy well-adjusted child except for when she's on her period. She's got anger issues and nobody has told her how to regulate her emotions. She needs therapy - dad should also take himself to parenting classes

poor Daniel, his boyfriend doesn't give him any rest
  • Even if the stomach pain turned out to be nothing, his response is still enough to break up. You don’t just ignore someone’s pain.

"In the name of Satan— I MEAN JESUS!!" Not Stan coming up to the surface for a bit there. 😂
  • He's like a Disney princes bursting out into song every 5 minutes

As someone who also experiences menstrual cycles, the step-daughter's behaviour is unacceptable. If she truly cannot stop herself from behaving this way, she might need to consult a doctor to find out if there is something else going on. Menstrual cycles on their own do not account for or excuse that kind of behaviour.

as a transmasc with the worst periods; yes your mental state changes and you get a lot angrier at literally everything. also you're in constant pain. not in a million years does it excuse tantrums or physical violence lmao. it does feel like she desires attention so much it is a little sad. i hope she gets help because that's not the behavior of a kid who's doing great.

when i was in the ER i told my bf who was busy at the time that i thought i would be going home. he texted his parents to make sure i could get back home safely. when i ended up being admitted he came straight to me from work, stayed with me the entire 10 days i was in the hospital. he only left to shower or go to work, i had a nurse tell me that when he had to change my IV while i slept my boyfriend was standing over me watching like a hawk. not once did my man let me feel alone!!!! girl go find a man who can act like a man i promise you they’re here😭😭
  • Who has to be admitted in the hospital for 3 weeks and told THEY overreacted?
  • These reddit posts always seem to fall into one of three categories: 1) Here's an insanely toxic situation in which no reasonable person would conceivably call you an asshole for having to deal with. 2) Here's a twisted version of events that is obviously teh poster trying to manipulate the reader into joining their "side", trying to martyr themselves despite being an absolute PoS. 3) Entirely made up, never happened in any fashion, and probably still ends up in one of the prior two categories.

If my boyfriend left me to fight for my life alone in the hospital for 3 weeks, by Week One, he would be an EX-boyfriend lol
  • @its_a_palimino
that intro certainly did surprise me but as a uterus with a woman that kid actually sucks, dad should have addressed that immediately and told her how to handle it before this ever happened.

BROWBEAT: Like bonking someone in the face with a newspaper only verbally with words.

My BF constantly stays up all night working and sometimes doesn't get to sleep until 5AM. On those nights I leave his pillow out on the couch for him, and when I get up for work around 8 or 9 I'll wake him up and he takes the bed. If that BF is creating an ultimatum where she can't sleep comfortably he should be contributing to the solution. The fact that he refuses to contribute for a larger couch makes him a total douchebag. Screw him.
  • Girlfriend should leave the hot sleeper boyfriend. How would that work in a long term relationship? With kids….? No. She should cut her losses while she’s young. He’s 35, not gonna change for her.
  • Daniel’s absolute rage at the boyfriend in the last story gives me IMMENSE comfort. Not my story, but it gives me hope.
