Our VRF Grab Bags (GB) videos are compiled from content from our cameras as Mods and fans spot something neat while watching our cameras. In the GB you will, of course, find a variety of TRAIN content, special trains, maintenance, steam, diesels, interesting rail cars, cool paint schemes and more. You will also find fun people, city events, boats, planes, cars (sometimes going wild) and nature. Thank you for taking the time to sit back and enjoy these highlight reels that we call "Grab Bags"!

That was a track assemble for a very big dozer. Laying on its side.

9:36 Looks like a large single crawler assembly, as in a crawler crane or excavator, but without the track.

That was the left roller blade for the Jolly Green Giant. Ho ho ho.

Storms, trains, a truck and cool instrumental to end the show...right on.
  • Wow! Excellent catching all the trains in multiple locations, I like them, they're awesome, @Virtual Railfan, thank you very much and have a nice day and night.

Dear 89 in PA, a cool caboose in Revy, that wonderful passenger car en route to Strasburg, and those fabulous storms and clouds--and the music at the end, as always, was perfect--especially the part where the FRED went away just as the music faded. Another great one!

That is NOT a track assembly for a dozer. That is a 132,500 pound steel crawler frame assembly, part of a a P&H 2800XPC electric shovel.
  • @espeescotty
I'm not the first to say it, but at 9:35, it is a track frame and rollers for a large P&H mining shovel. The car itself (PHMX 4428) belongs to the builder, P&H Mining Equipment. The heavy welded-in brackets and I-beams to hold it in place was neat to see. Pay attention to that, modelers.

Bet it has something to do with a ski lift or a gondola, something of that sort? 🇺🇸Keep chugging on.🚂
  • @Zebrails
Tail end music with storm to match the rhythm... cool! John
  • 20:38 carrier for continuous track, some times called caterpillar tracks, but used by many manufacturers. Yellow goods, dozers, excavators, tracked shovels, quarry machines. Not this load but tanks, agri-tractors, snowmobiles, etc..all use this type of track carrier as part of the drive base.
