These guys are just the best. Will forever love Husker Du. RIP Grant.
  • Everything I could think about during watching the interview was how well Bob aged. Damn.
  • I grew up listening to Husker Du, from the mid 80s to present now at 52 years old.

I've never been there, but I gotta hand it to the Twin Cities, they really punched above their musical weight class in the '80s. Between indie acts like Husker Du, the Replacements, and Soul Asylum not to mention Prince and his whole scene, seemed like a great place for music.
  • Man, Grant's working on his Shane MacGowan teeth here.

I'm a massive Husker Du fan and had no idea this footage existed. They're clearly well into their drug zone with Greg chuckling to himself, Grant spaced out to oblivion, and Bob, with his piercing intelligence, keeping the interview moving. What an amazing band and great to see this early footage, although sad that they are not on the right side of their drugs issues.
  • Can’t picture anything super fast becoming a timeless classic….well said grant while looking like Dave grohl
  • Interesting. Right before the band started to break apart
  • Not pretending not to care has to be the most rock n roll shit
  • Grant, your teeth.... Why? Ps. Good effort, interviewer. Sit down interviews with punk bands are not easy, especially if the band acts too cool for the interview, picking apart everything you say just to sound like a rebel. At least these guys are decent enough to take the interview seriously👍

What's with the GBV clip at the end? My 1 & 2 favorite bands ever.
