On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

1:13 " was thinking to drop a 2000lbs bomb on them. i dont think we need to do that, seems slightly overkill" words from a man who laser guided a 2000lb bomb into a portable toilet
-
You have had noooo problem using "slightly overkill" on plenty of smaller targets in the past. Case in point, the poor guy in the latrine using "slightly overkill" JDAMS 🤔
-
The A-10 to root around the dirt and support ground pounders. F-16 and F-35 for SEAD. F-35 and F-18 for electronic warfare and precision air strikes. Eagles and 22’s top of the stack for air superiority. All have their place in the stack.
-
Per the GAU-8: some wag once said, "if dragons were real, that is the sound dragons would make".
-
At 2:54, when you hear, "Bomb was on target." That was my squad leader yelling that over the radio in 2006 Ramadi, Iraq, after we dropped an LMAV on a building we called the "Swiss Cheese." There's a good video of it on here. 3rd Bn 8th Marines Kilo Co.

1:22 “slightly overkill” Meanwhile the guy in an outhouse as a 2000 lb bomb is hurtling towards him:
-
I always find the cheers of the people at the end so wholesome and funny
-
I didn't even serve (I tried to enlist, but that's a long story for another day), but that outro with the A-10 buzzing friendlies with the cheering audio gets me in the feels every damn time!
-
Right at the end with the GS logo only on the screen with the sound of the cannon going BRRRRRRRRRRT was awesome. Made me think that was your logo going brrrrrrrrrt for a second.
-
The A-10 is probably my favorite plane of all time. That being said, it's days are numbered. Aging airframe, high maintenance costs, slow response time, no stealth, needs air supremacy to function properly. etc etc. Gonna miss the old bird though.
-
I feel like you can sort of test this out by doing a sort of fulda gap sort of scenario, where you have just an epic ton of defenses, and see how many minutes the A-10 lasts and if the F-16 lasts any longer.
-
That missle was pant shattingly close.
-
yes yes YES! A10 action! Thank you!
-
Loved seeing the A10 in action in Iraq. Can never mistake when she is flying overhead.
-
I love the fact you've started/are adding mission links in the description. Great fun
-
I really love that you started sharing the missions 🙏 great video as always!
-
Still hoping for you to do some more A/G and maybe some intercept missions in the F-15E to show off the amazing capability of the Strike Eagle💪🏼🦅 As mentioned in earlier videos in the comments "Notso", the SME for RAZBAM has a fair amount of good videos out on his personal channel as well as on the RAZBAM official channel for A/G stuff. He also has a really good video with "Casmo" in the Strike Eagle with some really helpful tips regarding TOO, CDIP and general HOTAS tips.
-
As an old leg I can say I do not want to see the A-10 disappear from the battle.
-
The A-10 will always be close to us grunts hearts ❣
