  • @Staticblox
Jack basically represents our Society, -He's does something wrong -He acknowledges his actions and even feels remorse -Continues to do the wrong thing because he's too lazy to try figuring out how not to
  • @lapinamoric
i love how he tries to ACT once, and then disregards it for the rest of the playthrough... never change, Cliffe.
  • Everyone on their first playthrough: Let's see what this new "no killing" thing this game has! Purplecliffe: Death. Suffering. Nobody can escape.

1:00:52 "Man, is there a way to kill this game where you don't kill anybody?! 😂 Most iconic line in an Undertale playthroug
  • I love it how he just decided to look past the single most important info in the run, cuz he learned he can skip dialouge.

"I feel like a horrible person" And this is the experience which undertale is able to give you. Beautiful game!
  • @temtime1952
1:36:38 For people who don’t know, this is the ending where you kill every single person, except for papyrus.
  • The fact that bro unironically got one of the saddest endings… bro I’m glad he played his way without any spoilers from chat.
  • @calestial12
Jack: kills muffet Also Jack: don't make me feel bad about this game That one spider: Bet
  • @Xenobears
I don’t want to kill dogs! proceeds to kill EVERY dog Gets told to speak to monsters using the ACT command… promptly forgets the ACT command exists Feels horrible about killing monsters. keeps killing monsters Game guilt-trips you for continuing to kill monsters. Purple: surprised Pikachu face

I find it very interesting that he felt paranoid of the 'Home' theme. Normally, it is associated with comfort and a warm feeling. However, in a different context, especially the context 'lure into a sense of safety', yeah, this theme can be unnerving.
  • @LukasHugo
Let me guess, Purplecillfe's gonna kill everyone by accident.
  • If you ever feel inclined to play this game again, I STRONGLY recommend you play the pacifist/true pacifist route. You unlock more to the game and more lore too. It has a much more happy and fulfilling ending.

Undertale's trailer pitched it as "the friendly RPG where no one has to DIE." That means in the game's best ending, everybody lives! In the meantime, some fun facts! (no major spoilers) : - It is actually harder than you'd think to get killed by Toriel during her battle. - It is impossible to get killed by Papyrus; he will instead "capture you". - Undyne absolutely calls you out if you killed specific monsters (e.g. any/all of the five Dogs). She does not have a reaction for every monster (especially those in the Ruins), but she does have a response for having killed monsters in general. - It's technically possible to get an ending where Alphys says she should have killed you. - It's technically possible to battle Sans, but even he would say you don't want to do that. - During the battle against Asgore, his attacks will only kill you after you're reduced to 1HP. - You only get that one opportunity to actually kill Flowey.

I love how you address the comments throughout the video 😂 it’s a treat to watch a blind run after so long, I can’t even be that mad about your choices (the only thing I would’ve said if I was there was how to pronounce Papyrus lol)
  • @luketlb
1:01:17 “Is there a way to play this and not kill anybody?” That’s quite literally what the PACIFIST route is. Despite watching Jack kill most of the Underground, you are still filled with DETERMINATION. Edit: Jack please play this again I really enjoyed it

“comment the timestamp and how many times you screamed” I NEVER STOPPED SCREAMING JACK I FELT ACTUAL HEART PAIN WATCHING THIS VIDEO

There's actually a lot of clever sleight of hand going on in omega flowey fight. The fact that you can't see the number for your hp let toby get a way with a lot of trickery there. A lot of this would be pretty obvious if not for the fact that the fight is, by design, too hectic and overwhelming for you to pay close attention to the hp bar. 1: flowey's attacks do progressively less and less damage as your hp goes down. It only takes around 3 hits to go down to what looks like around a quarter health, but you can actually still take 5+ more hits without dying 2: this does not apply to healing, so the closer you are to death the more powerful the healing items are 3: the soul attacks actually can't kill you at all, no matter how much you get hit. 4: i'm 90% sure that your health drops at the same rate no matter how much of it you have, which is obscured by hiding the hp number, and helps keep the difficulty about even regardless of level. there's probably more that i missed, but these tricks do an amazing job of making players within a wide skill range feel like they're just barely hanging on for most of the fight.
