I loved seeing Jenna be so genuine in this video. I wish she could be my older sister.

The part when she read about the boy who told her he liked her but just wanted to be friends, and that she felt loveless and heartless, etc., and then she reads the part that says something like 'I hope one day I found someone that'll love me and I'll love them too' made me cry a little because she's so loved by Julien, and it's so obvious that he does. It's really touching
  • Did anyone else actually cry when Jenna read her notebook/diary. I did, I was bawling

this is by far my favourite video Jenna has ever done, she's sharing something so personal and meaningful to her to us which I feel quite privileged to see. Also, this video makes me feel all squishy and special inside >.<

I watched this whole thing with a huge smile on my face! I loved it! :)

"29 lessons I learned in 29 years" brought me here and I fucking love her

You're right, more people should do this. I keep boxes of stuff from people and when I was younger. My mom doesn't understand, she says it's all junk and that would have no use later on.

    A corvet ? A green mansion ? With a $1 salery ? Omg , you have it made ! Lol
  • Somehow I missed this video so I'm only just watching it now. It made me tear up, especially the parts from your old journals. I am also sentimental and keep things in a wooden box I made in seventh grade. I might go through them now and reflect on how far I've come. You make me want to be a better human. You're pretty wonderful. Thank you for the joy you brought to my life.

We all need to treat ourselves like how we'd react to our younger self if we knew them. Like you'd want to protect your younger self and hug them and tell them they're great and everything will be fine, but when it comes to ourselves now we're so quick to beat ourselves up and tell ourselves we're crap.
  • I cried today, because of reasons i won't tell, but i went back and saw this old video, and it made me really happy because i realized that there will come a day when i too look back at my old stuff and think to myself; "why was i so sad all the time, when i could just choose to be happy". Im only 14 and my life is just beginning. Thank you Jenna!
