Looks great man but you really need to get that tow hook off. A) it looks like it belongs in the hood (but given the wheels on your truck that may be the look you're going for) 😋 B) that strap is gonna beat the crap outta your paint

Don't leave the tow strap on there. It doesn't look as cool as you think, it could cause damage if you hit something, and the fabric is going to flap in the windand scuff the crap out of your nice shiny paint.

Just lose the tow strap for everyday driving! Buy the cap and have a clean front end. The fabric will end up being dirty and scratching the bumper paint.

Those conectors are easey when you get the trick. Just press it together, then use the thumb on the release and voila! Works like a charm.

Hey Matt, she’s coming along really nicely. Don’t be so hard on yourself – you built one car out of two from the bare chassis, so if that’s all that’s wrong I think you’re laughing! You said from a “guy with no experience”, but you have quite a bit of experience now so enjoy the fruits of your labors! Thanks for sharing.

That tow hook strap is going to flap around and scuff the paint my man

TIP: Modern automotive connectors release more easily if you push the plug further into the connector, press the release catch, and then pull the plug out.

VW/Audi also have those clips. Watch a few videos on how to properly use them. Super easy after that!

Looool I found out the hard way as well that JB weld does not do well when it’s a fuel line repair.. almost lit my engine bay on fire 😂🤦🏻♂️

Totally agree Matt, the Porsche connectors are awful. Cannot tell you how many I mangled on my 997 Turbo. For a German car company you'd think they would do better.

I don't know that I love the tow strap, but, I do love it more than the wheels on your truck. :D Great work on the mods, car is really coming together. Now don't JB weld any more fuel parts.
