  • Connor and Chris have the longest, most successful honeymoon period I've ever witnessed. Relationship goals.
  • @AbroadinJapan
Of all the Wacky Weekends we've been on so far, I was honestly the most violently ill on this one. Still, it was ALMOST worth it just for the utter spectacle that unfolds from 17:16.
  • "The only thing more fake than this plant is the man touching it." Chris saw the opportunity for a burn and took it. I can respect that.
  • @xxHIMfanxoxo
I love how at this point this feels likes Connor is Chris's son. He's just trying to make good memories with his dad and occasionally explain what's hip .
  • @Sybato
I can't help but laugh at the idea of Connor showing up in the drip coat and the ferry staff whispering to themselves, "that's the guy that booked the royal suite"
  • @staceyjones4927
You guys had possibly the worst location for your room for someone with seasickness. The bow of the ship moves the most as it goes up and over the waves so Chris might have had a better time if you were at the stern. Learnt that the hard way on a terrible ferry crossing in New Zealand
  • @owlislike
"Butter and roughness" "Worryingly good curry" "Bonfire crisps" The food descriptions Connor and Chris give are indeed truly masterful.
  • @Marryjanesbud
I love how Chris Broad is simply immune from hangovers. He’ll hit the bars with Connor till sunrise but still has coffee by 9 and work by 10.
  • @sleepybaby3270
when connor said that the room was luxurious 40 years ago, i was thinking 1960s, but then I realized it was the '80s.. i died a little inside
  • @johnbazy
you can tell Connor has never gone on a ship by how he literally thinks it's called "Ms. Kiso" instead of M.S. Kiso..........
  • @aries2242
28:42 So am I led to believe that every boat ride in Japan comes with an absolutely stunning ocean view of someone enthusiastically Fortnite dancing
  • @lauriepenner350
Chris seemed ever so slightly less bitter and jaded than usual. I think he had a really good time.

Connor, thank you (AND CURSE YOU) for giving me all of the Japan nostalgia. All of it. I lived on an American military base in Aomori prefecture from 1989 to 1999 (age 6 to 16) and totally took the experience for granted. You probably won't see this message, WHICH IS FINE, but I do have a recommendation for you! This coming February, if you have the time and money, you should definitely go visit Sapporo for the snow festival! Sapporo is also known for its beer and its ramen, HINT HINT! Cheers from the deep south of the US, and I can't ask you to have a beer in my honor because I don't drink, but if you can get your hands on a Mutsu or the amazeballs Sekai Ichi apple, CHOW DOWN or whatever!
  • @hedera1332
Sea sickness/motion sickness is caused when the fluid in your ears (which helps you maintain your balance) is telling you that you're moving, but your eyes are pretty much telling you that you are not. These mixed signals essentially confuse your brain and make you feel sick (this can also be why reading in the car makes some people sick). This is why going out on deck and watching as the boat rides the waves can sometimes help you feel better as it can re-align what your senses are telling you.
  • Kaho: "This is my boyfriend Connor, and this is Connor's boyfriend Chris" This is the energy I get from this channel haha
  • @Hexra_
"i don't want to wear the $1000 drip jacket too much because I'm scared I might ruin it" Connor once said as he wears it around Sapporo
  • @emmared1426
Based on my experience, I would say the room costs that much mainly because the size. Ships tend to have very small rooms so to have a literal apartment is quite something. That said I wouldn't pay that much for 15 hours 😂
  • You can tell Chris is the better planner just by the first few minutes of Conner not even realizing what the food plan was. Haha
