NOTIFICATION SQUAD: I still literally have no idea what Uncle Sandal is?! But come on, you know I had the best photo š
And so begins our new Journey Across Japan! This time to Okinawa for three awesome episodes introducing the food, the places and the people. A special thanks to Chiaki for letting us into her home to eat food both delicious and horrific. (APOLOGIES for the delay on the release guys I had some copyright issues with the video). -
That is the exact introduction Natsuki deserves. His face going the wrong direction compared to the punch really sealed it.
-
I WANNA GO BACK
-
Joey gets a Yacht trip, Connor gets a night in a church. I think we know who Chris's favorite is.
-
Natsuki trying to act like he wasn't phased by the hot substance and sitting there all cool, then nearly throwing up on Joey, had me in stitches.
-
Natsuki: āGetting this present was extremely difficultā
Chris: āFUCK OFF!ā ššš -
natsuki ages like a fine wine (or sake) he genuinely gets more funny and lovable every year!
-
Chris, I don't watch as much as I used to, but I have to say thank you.
Because of your videos I came to Japan on the JET programme, have lived here for 5 years, met my wife and lived in the most amazing town/village in Aomori (your videos inspired me to put all Tohoku prefectures down on my application, and I've fallen in love with the people, nature and culture). I had no interest in Japan before seeing your videos, and honestly its almost painfully nostalgic to watch your early videos. They remind me of a History masters student looking for an adventure in the UK and finding out about a place called Hachinohe. Thanks to those videos, that city has been my life for 5 years and I'm currently renovating my small, run down old school's garden as a thank you present to everyone here.
You gave Tohoku an english speaking voice and we are all proud and happy for you, what a great 10 years. -
I hope Natsuki is aware of how naturally funny he is, absolute gold
-
It was so great to see you all in Okinawa, thanks for inviting me to be part of your trip! Hopefully next time I can find an even spicier hot sauce to share with you all. š
-
Chris has nailed the "Millionaire" look imo, but in less of a "James Bond" way and more of a "here in my garage got my new Lamborghini here" kind of way
-
I don't know how ive never heard of your channel before or why YouTube has never recommended it to me. This type of content is exactly what i enjoy the most. Really disappointed that ive been missing out for a whole damn decade.
-
Nothing makes me smile bigger than Natsuki's broken one liners.
-
Can we nominate Natsuki & Gangster dude? I was very immersed in that scene š Also, I thought your picture (Chris) was the most "millionaire" bc you looked like a Chad near daddy's yacht.
-
Chris, seriously, you have outdone yourself and I am floored by the production quality. As someone who wants to get to your level, I am just thrown back by the work put in during even the first 3 minutes. Watching this where I should, on the giant TV with no distractions.
-
Abroad in Japan never disappoints. Chrisā sarcasm makes me laugh, and Natskui is an awesome friend. Chrisā content never fails to make me smile. This is how you do a travel documentary. Congrats on 10 years of top-line quality content. Someday, I might visit (or live in) Japan myself. Look forward to the next episode
-
Chiaki's smile lit up the room, would love to see her more another great adventure you've saved with us, thanks Chris!
-
You've done it Chris! You've made a YouTube series that I look forward to like a favourite TV show.
-
When I was in university in 2012, I got interested on what living abroad in japan looks like and Chris 2nd ever video pops out. So I watched it and there i knew apartments don't have bedrooms but what was interesting is how this bloke makes it fun to narrate the story living there by just complaining. Then I got busy, graduated, it's was 2016 and somehow wondered if that guy from 4yrs ago still lives and make videos about Japan. Found out he still did and started following him for a year, the guy went rampage on uploading in 2016. So I sticked till to this day, surprisingly I never got tired from the complaining. Happy anniversary Chris.

Mr. Affable, your editing skills have always been good. But this new series is just on another level. Itās truly incredible. Movie-level production. Congrats on 10 years!
