Where do you get your protein from?! “Looks right at the camera” 🤣 My answer to that question is “where your protein gets its protein” LOL! Works every time!

This is such a nice, gentle approach to veganism. A lot of vegan influencers promote jumping all in right away and being super strict about it. I really appreciate how you two suggest going in slowly and not beating yourself up if you slip up! Thanks for the great video :)

My tip : explore grains and flours in Asian indian grocery stores. There are many different kinds of frozen vegan foods in store too. Like steamed IDLI, SAMOSA, VADA, SAMBHAR, VEGETABLE BURGER PATTY, VEGETABLE KEBAB, ALOO TIKKI, AND THERE ARE LOTS N LOTA OF SNACKS plantain chips, rice crackers, spicy noodles, papad crisps, tapioca chips, and many flavors of pickles in oil. Patel brothers store has all good quality foods. Some brand names to try are DEEP : FROZEN FOODS SWAD :GRAINS AND LENTILS HALDIRAM: FROZEN FOODS DAWAAT RICE MOTHER'S RECEIPE : PICKLES IN OIL
  • I was vegetarian for 5-6 years then one day, January 23, 2003 I decided to go vegan. I find it easy. At first my meals were boring and lacking, but I became enthralled with nutrition and soon became confident that I was getting everything I needed. It’s also nice being able to quell any concerns from friends or family about my health. The hardest things for me is the haters and nasty commercials that my friends drool over

I feel in addition to writing down things you already eat that are “accidentally vegan”, to also write down your new vegan recipes that you try so you never forget all the great things you can make. I find myself eating the same thing or thinking “d*mn, what do I eat?!” Because I forget all these great dishes I’ve made. If you write it down (like your own personal menu) it makes it easier on you when your shopping or just got off work and want something tasty but don’t want to think too much about it... I haven’t done it yet, but I’m sure it works.

I was able to stop smoking immediately right away. But my step mom had just died of lung cancer and cigarettes were significantly increasing in price. So I smoked my last pack and that was that. Literally, the only thing I've been able to do that with!🤣 these are excellent tips! Great advice.

We know that fruits always taste great, but veggies sometimes need help. Magic Ingredient: Tahini Dressing... Tahini 1:1 or 2:1 w/water. Stir until smooth. Add lemon and/or lime, garlic and salt to taste. Great for brassicas & other veggies. Add to wraps for great flavor :face-blue-smiling:
  • I just happened on one of your YouTube Tube video recipes. I have fallen in love with you guys. You seem to work well with each other, have a sincere interest in getting your message out without agrandizing yourselves, and you have REALLY good dishes (I’ve cooked 3 so far).

So many great tips! I’ve been vegan for over 14 years now and it’s definitely a journey! Years ago, I accidentally had cheese at a restaurant and felt so much guilt even though I didn’t know before I ate it. It can be hard sometimes, but it’s a beautiful journey!
  • Me and my husband just switched from a standard American diet to vegan and it's only been a few days and we love it.
  • I wanted to go Vegan the beginning of last year. Didn’t happen. However it’s always stayed in the back of my mind. Now my mind is made up. I went shopping today; I didn’t get any “regular” food. I already only eat chicken and turkey. Just typing that my stomach turned a little. So I am going to take my time a enjoy the transition. Thank you for the tips they make so much sense. ✌🏽💙

Well I did go vegan overnight. I went from standard American omnivore, meat in most meals, to vegan basically immediately. I had a few meals I made prior that I had saved that I ate. I'm also very aware this is extremely abnormal. I came to it via ethical conviction and it was strong. I had been convinced it was right, but when it clicked, there was no way I could continue. I'm watching this to assist my wife who is currently taking the slow transition route. A lot of good tips in here. My wife is a very picky eater and I wasn't. That made a big difference.
  • I finally figured out who Larisha looks like !!! Alanis Morissette !!!!

As someone who has a bunch of digestive issues (Gluten-Intolorant, GERD, Low Sugar, Low Dairy) I have been playing with the idea of going Vegan as most Meats and Dairy products make me sick. Delighted to find your channel and begin my Vegan Journey.
  • I love the editing style on this video! It flowed so well and the little bit when andrew set up the camera and you 2 met in the kitchen. Thanks so much for the video 💖💖

I have been at this for 7 years now, after first trying to be vegan many years ago and going back to being a vegetarian(who no longer bought leather, wool, tallow soap, etc.). Nowadays, it's really easy. I barely think about my consumption choices because they are automatic after a couple of beginning years of reading all product labels and looking things up online diligently. It's a practice, veganism is a practice like Buddhism is a practice; it's a lifestyle you never perfect but which you are always striving to do better at. Good tips here, MIDF Fam. Happy New Year, and TFP : )

I went Vegan Cold Tofurkey 🤣 September 5, 2020. Best decision!
  • I remember trying tofu and jackfruit back when I first went vegan and literally hated them both. Now I can’t get enough of them 3.5 years later! It’s crazy how that happens! I’m truly sorry that Andrew hates mushrooms. Maybe you’ll like them in a few years haha. 😂

Hello! Thank you for expressing that it is OK if you "fall off the vegan wagon"! I am easing into veganism. Thank you for the helpful tips!
