A professional chef trying to be slow but can't stop being fast is hilarious

The way Chef Ramsay still adores and enthuses over his cooking is a testament to how a person truly can find their passion. Here he is, with however many decades he's been doing this, putting in so much attention to detail and admiring his ingredients with a childlike wonder. And I just love every second of it.

I would love to see some vegan dishes actually cooked. Chop and cook different veg, throw some mushrooms in there, maybe oysters or Maitake or something different. Vegans don’t just eat cold food/salad
  • I am excited that someone as thrilling, entertaining, and also fun as Gordon Ramsey is helping with vegan support. Thanks Gordon for caring.

If my wife looked at me the way Gordon looks at his sliced pineapples, I'd still be married.. 🤣🤣
  • @HiimWolf
Remember when Gordon used to say he was allergic to vegans, look at him now .

I am thrilled you are working with vegan recipes, and these look divine! I'm particularly happy to see you include lentils! But cold salads? And pineapple? As your vegan recipes for Vegan *January*? The season of hearty, warm meals? Something to think about the next time around.

You can troll Gordon for his language and attitude, but when it comes to cooking, you have to give it to him. It's a joy watching him.

Nice recipes Sadly honey isn't vegan, but I guess one can make an exception for the sake of the recipe Edit: I know there are substitutes for honey, but I just wanted to mention for the overall educational purpose, that honey is not vegan

Watching someone as skilled, knowledgeable and passionate as Gordon Ramsay prepare vegan dishes makes me ashamed to stare at a fridge full of produce thinking “what do I do?”
  • Thank you, Gordon! I am in a Plant Base diet Kidney-Friendly. I always try to find recipes with flavor that I can eat. Everything that you did in this video I CAN EAT (in portions, of course), but I can eat, and they will have flavor! So much blessing with this video! Bless your heart! I hope you can read this and how you soooo much you help me with this! I hope that you have more veggies recipes in February! Thank you again.

I'm desperate to be healthy, but I think vegan is the answer. Both of my parents had dementia, so I quit my job and took care of them. Last year, they both passed away after 3 months. It was stressful. My parents passed away, and my body and heart aches a lot. I have a brain aneurysm on my head and two brain aneurysms. I even had hypothyroidism, so I suddenly gained 15kg. Anxiety disorder Panic disorder I'm still suffering from insomnia. It's been a year since my parents passed away, but I'm still in treatment, but it hasn't been long since I started again. I started YouTube, took a walk, and went on a trip because I had the courage to share and communicate. Now I want to be healthy. I hope everyone watching this video is healthy. Please take care of your health first.

I love Gordon Ramsay, but his whole thing is respecting fresh ingredients in season and letting them shine by keeping it simple. It's no secret vegan/vegetarian isn't his thing, but you can't tell me he's encouraging people to make a cold summer soup like gazpacho with fresh tomatoes grown in January... unless he's in Australia atm, nobody's eating gazpacho in January. He's actually got a vegan steakhouse dinner, and a few other great vegan recipes that are seasonally appropriate for the entire northern hemisphere. Has a great marinara, using tinned marzanos (tinned when ripe in season), and a roasted squash hummus that's delicious. His apple crumble is vegan if you just use vegan butter for the topping, and he's got great roasted veggie recipes that can be vegan with minor swaps or omissions. This video is just a collection of salads, and while delicious as usual, are not going to be great for wintertime.
  • 03:02 Even all this time, you can feel the passion in his voice and see it in his motions. I love that he still loves this.
  • I’ve always had a secret crush on Gordon Ramsay but cooking VEGAN has now taken it to another level 😍🥰😍
  • @evastreit6115
Depending on where you live of course but from a European stand point I find it a bit strange to see a cold soup, made of all summer veggies, prepared in January. Is Mr Ramsey familiar with the concept of seasons?
  • @leafii.
When you love tomatoes. But seriously the tomato seeds have the best texture and flavour ever-
  • I’m not a vegan myself, but i do admit i love many, many of the dishes that get made on that side of the foodies

This is traditionally eaten during summer in Spain, so that you can cool down and have somethibg refreshing in the heat. Exactly what you need in January in Northern Europe 🤣. They don't even eat it in Spain this time of year. And of course it's so much better for the planet to eat imported foods completely out of season.
