I used to work as a warehouse manager for a company that recycles cell phones. All of the phones are taken apart and the material sorted out into lcds, circuit boards, plastic, batteries, etc. and sent to China to rebuild new phones. You would need a ton of cell phones to get enough gold to actually make some money. Those throw away phones that WalMart sells are actually recycled phones. They aren’t new. They may look new and come in a pretty package but they are not. They are recycled. China is making a fortune from old cell phone material. It’s an interesting process for sure.

I think it's a good idea but in Italy I can't find certain products in the shop I have to go directly to the factory and they tell me no so I have to organize myself to look for someone who can get me the chemical product preferably from the factory and not from the shop
