Embrace of the Endless Ocean has been my favorite Amon Amarth song ever since I picked up the album when it first dropped in 2008, it was also my late brother's introduction to the band, and he was hooked from day one. Whenever I hear the chorus, I can't help but think of sitting around with him all those late evenings with a couple drinks and joints showing him what I've been listening to and seeing his excitement every time I brought out the Bluetooth speaker. It hits a little differently these days since he never made it home that unfortunate evening coming home from work, but I still listen and play it with him in my mind.

The absolute best album from probably the best band in the genre. Every single song is an absolute banger.

When I had "Tattered Banners and Bloody Flags" as my ringtone, my dad will always shout "I SWEAR THIS BOY IS GOING TO GIVE ME A HEART ATTACK ONE DAY!" whenever my phone starts ringing. But seriously, what a song though. One of their best.

I started being Amon Amarth fan from this album. And nothing of their other masterpieces is better so far
