Runes To My Memory was the first AA song I heard back in 2007 and I fkn loved it. With that being said, I just saw a post about "Viking Metal" and literally thought of this song and here I am lol

One of my favorite things about Amon Amarth is definitely Big J's vocals and how he pronounces every word so you can hear it and follow the story of these songs of sagas \m/ No need to look up the lyrics cause they are stuck in your head after a few playthroughs \m/

Ah yes. When the cracks started to show. But honestly, I underrated this work. It really does start out strong. It deserves more spins than I've given it, for sure.

The breakdown in Under The Northern Star is my favorite guitar piece from the mid 2000s metal pinnacle. One of the last albums I ever bought.
