You just pull or unscrew the red/blackbits enough to expose the hole and trap bare wires in the old stereo.
  • @Mobius118
    I appreciated Grump’s Ace Combat corner. The man’s a freaking legend 🫡
  • @chug4083
I cant understand how Cap can be a PC gamer for many years and know so little about PCs
  • Wow, you guys have really impressive setups. Thanks for sharing 👍 And nice to see Grump on the camera btw
  • @ricky836
"32 Megabits of ram," lol you can only play Strikers 1945 with that kind of ram. Anyways, love your vids! It really helped me out for learning the steep curves of DCS!!!

Cap I'd just like to say that I've been watching your dcs video for 2 years now and you have had a huge influence on me. After watching your vides for a few months I just had to get a pc of my own and get flying. I picked up a good starter pc and hotas and track ir just like yours and was happy for about a year, then I decided to upgrade with new motherboard to accommodate an m.2 for fast loading. Went from 8 to 32gb of ram. Upgraded my graphics card to a Zotac 2060 and went from a Ryzen 3 3200 to a 5 5900x and upgraded psu too. Also got a Oculus vr to fly with and its amazing. But gaming isn't my first love, I race bikes which is very expensive and I'm a firefighter here in the UK so I don't get alit of time to fly, usually 9 or pm onwards. I watch all of your vides every night before going to sleep. So I'd just like to say a massive thank you. Please keep making all your cool videos. And I'd loveto fly with u somewhen.

Lovely setups guys! Used to build actual flight simulators for commercial airlines, fascinating to see game flight sim setups.
  • @Architek79
Thank you GR! As a former combat vet I appreciate your content and attention to detail. Your videos help me get through my PTSD episodes and my undying passion for aviation/technology.
  • @MasterMojo85
„Skil, so which peripherals for flight sim do you wanna buy?" Skil: "Yes."
  • @everydreamai
Those connectors are for bare wire. You can tin the copper with a soldering iron to keep it from oxidizing too much if you like, but its more or less just a bare wire connector. Strip the ends of your speaker cable, twist the copper wires to keep it tidy, tin if you like, the red/black piece will either be spring loaded or you unscrew it a bit, insert wire, tighten back down. That's it.
  • @KortanaDCS
Lol, I still need to do one of these videos for my channel. Some of these are fantastic!
  • @RobRoss
WOW. I’m not fighter plane geek but I do appreciate cool gear and these are all amazing! I dig that one set-up that is hooked up to a water bong. Must keep it very calm and groovy.
  • @toothpik00
Phew, nice to see some VKB gear at the end there! I've just "splashed" out on a VKB Gladiator Evo Joystick and Omni Throttle setup, although I've had the T. Rudder Mk IV pedals for a few years now. Love their products. Nice setups everyone! Cheers for sharing!
  • @henrymann8122
The set ups are mind blowing to me. I am 55 years old and wished I would have done this 10 years ago. Thanks fellas.
  • Nice setups ! Thanks for the video Cap. Let's me know what to work towards. (Even though I have to face the fact I will never get there on retirement)
  • Hey Cap, I think you just need some speaker wires, and you strip the plastic off the ends, put them through the holes in the connectors in the amp, and the same thing with the speakers. One speaker wire actually has two copper wires, and you need to connect the red connector on the speaker to the red connector on the amp, and the same thing with the black. And you should be good to go.
  • @MattBrunton1965
Great to see the luscious setups but especially good to see Cap & the Grump himself - actual "Grumpcam" 😁
  • @didnotwantthis
Right click on the volume icon in the taskbar. Click "Sounds" go to the "Recording" tab select your microphone click "Properties" go to "Levels" tab and you can adjust "Microphone Boost". You can go up to +30dB which is 1,000x louder. Should allow you to get pretty much any mic to the level you want.
  • Who would have thought, the most exciting post on GR would be the gaming rig setups :D
