When I worked in the crew for a owner driver, We had a thing we like to call nut & bolt the car . Before every race you would grab a handful of wrenches and go over the entire car. You would be surprised how many were loose.

And that is why us dirt racers MUST bolt and nut check every thing every race. Thank God no one was hurt! We run our regulator back side of fuel log with support bracket. Stops the bouncing and vibration.

Anytime you can start in the back, pass on the outside and run down the leader....the car and driver are hooked up. "That Boy CAN Drive!"

Nut and bolt checks before each race are needed for any race car. They are in place for a reason.
