"Tight bars little man" That alone shook the community for like a year

According to FNF lore. Boyfriend and girlfriend are literally too stupid to realize how much danger they're in until the last possible moments.

A fun fact that makes me like even more Zavodila. Ruv, the guy himself, it’s singing with the microphone disconnected, and still makes the whole church shake

One of the the things i remember really liking about Smoke Em Out Struggle was that, in the midst of other popular mods like Tricky and Whitty, mods that sounded good but were ball-bustingly hard (for the time), SEOS showed that you don't need crazy fast hard songs to be a good mod, just some solid jams and compelling characters

The epileptic seizures are part of the Sunday experience

Personally I think what makes these kind of fnf mods better than the ones we have today is that it had original characters like whitty and tabi, these were the simpler times that had a valence of identity, good music and art style to the individual mods. Nowadays it’s just boring and repetitive exe/creepypasta mods with sonic being used so many times. I’m sick of it Edit: hey cool 1k likes thanks guys

I gotta say, looking back at the old "15 attempt songs" like ballistic or tricky, and then looking at the mods of today. Man. We didn't know how good we had it back in the good old days. They look like child's play now. At least they aren't considered "easy" still. Also nostalgia hits like a truck.

To me, older FNF mods will always still matter. Even the ones I haven't played in the past. I literally played FNFever yesterday. It was so fun lol.

I remember playing the Tricky mod for the first time almost three years ago and being flabbergasted by the cutscenes. It’s weird coming back to the game and seeing all of these huge mods wayyy larger than the original game. It is tiring seeing all of the creepypasta mods nowadays though.

God, even now, that entire “HAAAANNNKKK!” section in Expurgation is still one of the best moments in FnF

Went to an anime con after this game came out and there was a family who had a 7-10 year old cosplaying as “boyfriend” with a mic, red cap, and blue hair. They even has game’s music playing on a speaker. Best cosplay I saw that year. Snagged a pic before I left

in garcello, his cigar at the bottom of the screen also changes colour
  • Surprised Vs. Hex isn't on here since it's a Mod I and many others remember fondly from back in the day.

I think a lot of these mods aged well. I'd still listen to em. And some classics even got an upgrade. I can listen to 2023 Foolhardy all freaking day. I jammed out to Foolhardy in 2021 after all. I saw the Regular Show meme on repeat.

Watching and listening to old mod in 2024 At this time, Shaggy and Matt: are we a joke for you?!

These mods are essentially the Founding Fathers of this game
  • @infernopython
this is a throwback. i remember struggling with crappy chart and weird mod concepts, but thats what gave the game character. now we have full ass games built into the mods. im glad the game is still around, and hopefully the full ass game gets finished soon.

at this point fnf is becoming very nostalgic, especially the mods. i was extremely invested in this game for years and have been in the community ever since its initial surge in popularity. i remember just finding out about fnf because of coryxkenshin and 8 bitryan, who were big motivators to check out the game’s mods. one of the first mods i remember playing was saltys sunday night, and im pretty sure this was before tankman, when the game only went up to senpai’s week. this game is very nostalgic to me, glad you’re reviewing all of these mods.

While the music may be the main attraction for these mods, The way that programmers continued to evolve the way that you played the game via mechanics was incredible. The typing mechanic in Monochrome stunned me, and it oy git better from there. Will you be talking about the use of mechanics is old & new mods?
