  • We always have generator ready, water, kerosene lamps, cookstove and everything to survive. We have been 11 days out here before.

My parents have a propane- fueled generator and it’s been the best purchase they’ve made. These run everything in the home, you don’t need to do a thing. As soon as power is out they seamlessly kick on. You don’t even know there’s a power outage until you see your neighbors in their dark houses. They are still very $$ and require expert installation. The smaller types are ok, but will only produce enough power to run a few things and you need to manually get them operating and keep them operating. And they are VERY loud.

Got to be good to own a tesla up there right now
  • Meanwhile, I haven't lost power in almost 4 years and they froze my assets so you can't get one. So I made an alternative, unpatentable Energy Source and it is free.
  • Solar generators can be used indoors or outdoors. I invested in 2 with solar panels. Best decision I ever made.
