Full Disclosure: I purchased and transferred this suppressor out of my own pocket, nothing was provided by YHM for this review, and the contents within are of my own thoughts and considerations.

The Yankee Hill Machine Co. R9 has become one of my favorite suppressors for daily use. Whether it's on a pistol, SBR PCC, or even Rifle, its small size and powerful suppression capabilities ensure I stick with it. There is no other can on the market that offers this much value and capability with little sacrifice.

Very impressive sound reduction across all of those various platforms. Excellent demonstration of the R9. 👍
  • Just got my R9 and I can’t wait to run it in my CMMG Banshee and MPX. This vid helped solidify my decision to purchase. Thank you
  • @Chamdar17
thank you for taking the time to go through all those variations for comparison 👏

I just got my R9 out of ATF purgatory a month ago and I'm loving it. Its flexibility is exactly what drew me to it, I use it freely on both my AR15 and AR9.

I actually saved this video for future reference, good job, subscribed
  • In most instances when I sell a suppressor the combination/formula I follow pretty often is a AB Warthog (7.62) and a YHM R9. It just covers so many bases/platforms as no one really wants to be switching suppressors back and forth if they don't have to. If you simply understand that suppressed doesn't mean no hearing protection you will love all of your suppressors.

This was good. Obviously would be nice with some db data to compare, but still delivered a decent subjective comparison. Obviously all these would be magnified many fold indoors. Which would be a really nice video for some of those big youtubers to do one day. That said, you earned a subscription with this video! Thanks man!

I love how he does his videos professionally, but not too much that he acts like a robot. I like the angles and all the info he puts while recording.
  • Wow! I was considering purchasing the Huxwrx in 7.62 for my 308 and another can to run on my 5.56 AR's, but if I can purchase just one can and cover both calibers, I would be thrilled without having to spend two thousand bucks on two separate cans.

Well done review! Just subscribed to your channel because of this one!

Awesome video on the R9, keep it up and do some more suppressor vids.

Got the YHM r9 for over a year and it’s awesome for versatility and price to performance ratio. The problem is finding free time and enough ammo to go plinking on a consistent basis !

YHM has been making good suppressors for decades. It was one of the brands i looked at when I was getting my first cans. But i didn't have any local dealers with them then. AAC was my other choice. I wish there had been the multi use ones available then.... it would have saved me quite some $$$$.

Well you’ve got me sold, I think this will be a great first suppressor that I can try on a variety of my collection without having to spend thousands. 🤞🏼
  • @justchillin6599

  • Thanks for this. I am leaning towards this reasonably priced suppressor

Those first shots with the .300 blk out were absolutely sick. All you could hear was the bolt . More quiet then my Crossman 760 bb gun lol.

Enjoyed the vid. I run a R9 on my 7” AR9. Using tri lug mount. It also spends time on a 9” 300BLK SBR. Xeno mount. Eventually I’d like another can just for the 300BLK. Still hunting for the perfect can for it……. That’s reasonably priced.
