That previous video made me nervous to buy the rifle kit... but I'm glad you were able to fix that problem.

I have the. 177 chaser kit, and a diana bandit in .22 and a stormrider barrell, with those things you can make up 4 different guns in each caliber. Diana chaser, bandit, airbug, all interchange parts and the stormrider barrell fits on all of them in .22. I have been able to get 26FPE with the bandit in. 22 using the stormrider barrell and mounted on the chaser kit stock. Deadly accurate @ 75 yds
  • That's awesome man! Just watched the other video. Glad to see you got it shootin good. I have a couple of 22 Chasers. One is spot on but the other groups ok at 20 but not as good as the other. I think I am going to try and scrub the barrel like you did. Thanks for the info David.
  • I forget where I read it (youtube / fb group / GTA forum...) but someone had an SMK cp2 and their barrel had visible burrs near the crown. Accuracy was terrible. Then they cut off the end of the barrel and recrowned it and it shot great. I ordered a cr600w that's coming soon, I'm crossing my fingers the barrel's in good shape but if not i'll probably try what you did first.

If anyone else needs to remove the moderator, boil in water 5 min and wearing heavy gloves just twist it off counter clockwise and itll come right off.
  • hey does someone have a problem with diana/cp2 during the barrel change ..thing is it happened couple of times to me .. that tiny black circle and there is two of them on each barrel at their bottom...they just get tore apart even if i change barrels carefully

I Just Purchased this rifle Kit, and got it yesterday and Noticed that the Rifle Barrel, at the beginning has 2 outside O Ring,s, But doe,s Not have an Inner O Ring? Do I have to take it out of the Pistol Barrell or is it in the little bag that came with some extra Orings for the Outside of the barrel or is that Oring for the inside chamber for the C02, if so do you know where I can Order a O Ring for the Barrel?? Thank You!!! I Bought The .177 Cal!!! :)

First job with any new gun, clean the barrel. Who knows how long the"packing" oil has been in there and over time it solidifies.

You can't go wrong with RWS Superdomes 14.5 grain or JSB RS /Falcon accuracy plus 13.43 grain pellets in the .22 version.

Good to see the problem was such a simple fix. I kinda want one of these kits to play around with but your previous video had me concerned. Col. Townsend Whelen said it best: "Only accurate rifles are interesting" and this one appears interesting.

Hello, I know it's been a while but I just got one in the .177. I haven't shot it yet and I am wondering do I need to scrub it before I fire it. What do you recommend? I understand you also have the .177 and it shoots perfectly fine out of the box. Thanks!
  • @jakem20
Do you have a link to the cleaning kit you used on this?
  • @peteralexben
maybe there was locktite in the barrel or crown
