Homemade Onion Rings - Super Crispy Easy and Delicious

One of my all time favorite fast foods are onions rings. I am, however, fairly fussy in terms of how they are made and how they taste. In my opinion, they need to be super crispy, have some spice, and heat. Many onion rings I have had just do not come up to standards. In light of this, I decided to make my own recipe. Believe me, these onion rings are super crispy and delicious. I love them with burgers or hot dogs or just solo.

As always, you can adjust the spices by adding more or less. It is your call.

Give them a try and let us know what you think.

my mom just bought 10 kg of onions, that's why im here lol Edit. For those who are asking if I'm Asian. Yes, I am. I'm Filipino 😁
  • Great recipe. I only had one problem with it. Everytime I made a batch my family would swoop in and eat them all before I finished the next batch. I had hard time filling the plate :)

I just made these..my first time making onions. I LOVED them...so crispy and light. I'm an onion ring connoisseur and these are the best I've ever eaten..can't believe I made them myself...without a deep fryer too. Thanks Dave!

I was going to make these as a side dish to my main meal tonight. As it turned out, these became the main meal. They are that good. Thanks for a great recipe, Dave!
  • Two people in our house bought bags of onions, and they're about to go bad. So we're making onion rings tonight! This is the recipe I've chosen. Wish us luck!

I followed this recipe and lemme tell you, these are far better than the soggy ones you can get from fast food restaurants. Very crispy and very crunchy 👌
