There's nothing wrong with saying you want to reach a certain person's level of success and even surpass them. I am probably gonna get a lot of flack for this. But I think that Tyla is a TikTok girly. And whether anybody agrees with this or not, the biggest thing that makes most TikTok celebrities is their looks and sex appeal. You can even in the side-by-side in this video Tyla does a lot of that. it might just be also be a generations type of thing but I think that Rihanna wasn't JUST "I'm a pretty girl" (although everyone else kind of placed that on her). It was the marketing of her as a "Femme Fatale" archetype which took a long time to refine that lane but also fit her personality really well. I won't say that Tyla doesn't remind me of Rihanna when she first started out. She is going to need a team behind her a to make sure she's not just this one note "look how pretty I am" marketing thats happening.
