  • I just love this movie. I do not want this to be taken away from those who adore it and those who have yet to watch it.

I saw this when I was in my late teens and this was before DVD's and VCR's so we had to see it multiple times on the big screen. I'm glad I have the DVD of this because I doubt any streaming service would touch this with a ten foot pole. It's also one of the vew movies that could never be remade as the PC crowd would lose their minds.

watch it for what it is...a fucking funny film!!! the world is gone mad with all this pc bullshit.
  • I remember watching this with my Dad. I never seen him laugh so hard. What are the odds of getting this made in our super hyper sensitive age of political correctness?

I posted this on my Facebook page... I love it!!! It shows how Mel Brooks, during a time of controversial political parody, chose to step out, put it where society could see it, and make their own perception... For that, during this time, I consider him one of the greatest producers EVER!!! As a black man, that shit was funny!!! I respect those that feel offended, but he was one of the first who dared to present sociological views with race, creed, and sex... This is life...!!! We all categoriz

The guy who says "the sheriff is near"David Huddleston died today. R.I.P.Allow me to be a know-it-all:This cast was supposed to be centered around Richard Pryor, who wrote the script with Mel Brooks. So if you want to use this movie as an example of PC being bad, remember one of the guys writing N-bombs into the movie is Pryor. My point: it isn't funny (or defiant) using racism to insult people. It can, however, be hilarious to make jokes showing how stupid racist people are.
