You guys should do the 80s too. There's a ton of recognizable songs in the 80s.
  • 3:31 mariah was in her 20s during the whole '90s, and she had a #1 hit every year of that decade. i'm gen z and i had to find this out on my own too, and now i'm in her fandom
  • @Mimi-ud1mo
Mariah consistently had most of her highest ranking songs during the 90’s.

"My sister is 31 and she wasn't even born yet" Ouch. As someone born in the mid 80s that hurts. I think I might have a single of save the world someplace. I listened to it constantly on a road trip family vacation one year - I want to say around 96.

It’s fun to see Millie move side to side with the songs.
  • @orphu88
Wait... you haven't seen TITANIC???!!! Time for a movie reaction!
  • I'm 31, the same age as your sister, so some of these songs definitely remind me of my early childhood.

I was born in 1986, these where the soundtracks to my childhood! Took me back to a better time. I miss the 90s!

Oh yeah, the 90's was a Great Era for Music. Fond memories 😊
  • Omg sooo many childhood memories. Had to hold back tears 🩷 I was born in the 80s, raised in the 90s and it was honestly the greatest.. much simpler times in my opinion

Oh man, I’m feeling my age now! It makes me feel like the 90s are still 10 years ago instead of 30 years ago. I was a preteen/teenager whenever all of these songs came out so I grew up on all of these songs and I still listen to them today.
  • Ouch! "Smooth" by Santana ft Rob Thomas is one of the best songs on this video. Carlos Santana is a rock legend and guitar god! Actually give the song a listen, I've never heard of anyone thinking it's anything other than 🔥🔥🔥🔥

LOL, I don't know what it is about this particular clip, but every time she imitates a singer with a sincere and painful face, it's hilarious. She had me cracking up. Maybe it's because she is always so polite and respectful, but she's actually very funny, LOL.
  • Man, talk about nostalgia. I was born in 83 so I grew up with these 90's songs.
  • Thanks for making me feel old! Also, thanks for giving me the music of my life. I went from middle school to college in the 90's. Every song except for a few I have a memory of it and how it makes me feel.
  • Im surprised nobody has commented yet on Mariah Carey. Believe it or not she was the biggest artist of the 90s, yes even bigger than MJ, Janet, Celine, Whiney, Madonna, and bigger than any band and group too. She had at LEAST 1 #1 hit for every single year of the 90s decade, by the end of the decade she had 14 #1s already and one of them was even named song of the decade by billboard spending 16 weeks at #1, it was actually the one yall recognized with Boys 2 men. She was the most successful best selling artist of the decade and was named artist of the MILLENNIUM by the end of the 90s.

All I can say is as someone who just caught the 90s myself you guys missed some of the greatest music ever..but thankfully we have YouTube to keep reminding us!

My entire teenage years and the first few years of my twenties just flashed before my eyes. Or ears. It's really incredible the way that five second clips of songs from 30 years ago can just put you right back where you were then, if only for a fleeting instant. Whether it's hanging out at a friend's house, playing computer games alone, getting dressed for sports, working at my first job - almost every one of these songs transports me back to a particular long-gone moment in time, and makes me feel exactly what I felt then.

So glad to see you enjoy my 20's! I turned 20 in 1990 and my kids are all older than you! 😊 (CONGRATS on your little one! I was 23 when my oldest son was born in 1993! 💕) You should look into the 80's when I was a teenager. I bet you will know a lot of them because they have been covered so many times!
  • its so weird that y'all are older than me (born 06) and i knew a good majority of these! some songs i didn't know y'all knew and a lot i knew y'all didn't know,, honestly pretty fascinating
