I think you’re the first American I’ve come across who pronounces Edinburgh properly, as it should be. Congratulations!
  • Edinburgh is really yet at its best in autumn when it’s moody and the buildings all look more gothic and impressive
  • In my opinion, Edinburgh is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. I visited Edinburgh and the highlands a few years ago and it was amazing. I'm coming back in December and this video made me so excited about it! Loved it ❤️

As a local, it's always lovely to see how others see the city and what they enjoy.

Thanks for visiting my home city and for such a positive impression. Haste ye back! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇺🇸

LOL! My daughter walked past you in the background! OMG, sending this to her immediately. BTW Ensign Ewart is pronounced ‘en-sin you-art’

So refreshing to see a travel vlog that isn't instantly all about Harry Potter when going to Edinburgh, the fact you started with Trainspotting was amazing. I hope you had a chance to visit Glasgow? As beautiful as Edinburgh is and I will admit its prettier than Glasgow, it just doesn't have the same vibe, nightlife, edginess as Glasgow does.
  • I’m so glad you discovered Bobby. My childhood pet was a dog named after Grayfriar’s Bobby. I kept hoping you didn’t miss that. It is such a sweet story if you’re a dog person.
  • Definitely visit Dean Village in Edinburgh. A unique beautiful place in the heart of the city.

I loved your Trainspotting episode very much , passed there many times in my younger days, and had a pint in the Black Bull Pub.
  • Recently started watching your videos on the UK (loving them by the way, they remind me how lucky I am) and then watched some of your earlier stuff. My mind is boggled! Love your curiousity and positivity. Keep exploring, you're an absolute joy.
  • Love your enthusiasm and your observations are spot on. Glad you’re having such a great time.
  • Glad you are enjoying your trip! Sure you would enjoy a walk around Dean Village in Edinburgh. It's a residential area but very beautiful.
  • GREAT INTRO!! I love the architecture in Edinburgh too. I always say that it looks amazing in any weather. Sun, snow, clouds, rain, always atmospheric and gorgeous! So fun that you went to Deacon Brodies! I tried haggis there 😉
  • Yay! You finally did my home town. Manchester is the third biggest city in England so only enough time to scratch the surface; but you went to some great places. Please come to Leeds soon!

Hiii I work at Real Mary Kings Close and i am big fans of your channel! Sadly don't think I was working the day you visited. I sent your video to the team & we are delighted you had a great tour with us :). Really glad you feel like you learnt something from it and had a great trip to Edinburgh, I've lived in the city 3 years and am still absolutely amazed at it!!!!! Safe travels :)

Loving these videos & hearing your thoughts on British culture, architecture & culinary delights! Sadly, when you live in a place, you often forget to appreciate what's right on your doorstep. I spent my 30th birthday weekend in Edinburgh & we ended up way too hung over to do any of the touristy bits. But such a great vibe & amazing people - as is standard in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 😊
