  • Danny, I have a doctorate degree, and was in school till the age of 28. You sir, are perhaps the best teacher that I have ever had. You’re also a very likable kind of guy, and I’m sure your students love having you as their teacher!
  • I have been studying Spanish for a month now. I'm getting kinda frustrated about it but then I found this video and it makes my life so much easier. You taught better than my teacher in class. Thank you so much!
  • You are the best teacher !! please never stop posting videos! I appreciate your content .. Thank you
  • I am 62 and recently I have made some Spanish speaking friends. So I have been using a translator on my Android to communicate which has worked out OK but I thought I would learn Spanish in order to have better communication. I did pretty well with numbers, days, months etc.. But verb conjugation just blows my mind. In school and College I could breeze through math and science classes but I always struggled with English, the same with Spanish. I really enjoy your videos, you have a great style and I have learned a lot. However, as with most analytical people I keep getting frustrated with rule breakers. I suppose you just can't teach an old dog new tricks. Thanks for being so kind and pleasant in your teaching style.
  • I use your videos to supplement my Spanish classes and they help me to understand the "why" we say certain things in Spanish so immensely
  • Don’t know why you have only few likes on your videos, you deserve so much You explain in much better way than any other Youtuber 👍🏻
  • I speak English and decided to learn some Spanish on my own/ For about 4 months now, I have been studying just vocabulary words. I wanted to learn how to put my words into sentences. I have learned so much from Dr. Evans. I practice at least 2-4 hours daily. I am a slow learner! He has provided the BEST CONTENT & LEARNING TOOLS which have helped me memorize so much. BEST TEACHER EVER! YOU SIR ARE A MASTER PROFESSOR! I will continue playing the videos to learn more. I just wanted to say "THANK YOU". Thank you for making this available. You have a real gift.
  • Hola Danny I can't say it enough you are the best teacher I have ever come across. At the age of 68 I've met many types of teachers and you make learning so much easier to understand. Muchas gracias. Helen
  • I am originally from Morocco, lived in Belgium for almost 20 years and in Canada, English part for 7 years and now I moved to Siuth if France in Catalonia, not far from Barcelona I speaks Arabic, French and English and finally started a class of Spanish wish was delayed because of the covid It isn’t a class with a teacher but an association with a volunteer who shares his knowledge with us I am glad I found you on youtube, your videos are so clear et concise ...helps me a lot and give me so much motivation and joy Found that Moroccan dialecte used some Spanish words as Suerte, el baño, camisa, chaqueta ....with the same meaning...history of moron ( Maures) and colonialism are certainly behind all this Anyway, wanted to express my gratitude 🙏 toward you Keep the good work
  • @metalanyu
I am taking Spanish for the first time ever. I'm 38 and in college and I am struggling with learning a new language. My fil suggested your videos and in just 2 videos I've learned more than I have in 4 weeks of college.
  • I have to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have wanted to learn Spanish for so many years. I even lived in Barcelona and still avoided learning due to a lack of confidence. I've now started lessons with a tutor but I have to tell you that you have a way of teaching that makes it so much easier to learn and understand. My confidence has grown even in a few days watching your lessons. I have charts all over my bedroom wall so when I do my lessons I can look up and already have the answers memorized. I'm moving back to Barcelona in the summer so I'll have a decent level by then. Thank you so much
  • @retha90
I can’t believe I once struggled with Ser vs. Estar. I have it down pat and can use them effortlessly. Thanks, Dr. E!
  • These video lessons are amazing! They have helped me understand the language a lot better. Muchas gracias, Danny!
  • OMG! I wish I checked internet years ago and came across your lessons. I would be talking with people around me and enjoyed. I moved to CA from east coast in 2006 and everyone thought I am spenish at first glance.(indian from India). I took classes when I moved here but just didn't understand a bit in class with all the younger kids around.now, years later, senior citizen, going to Mexico, decided to check out little bit to servive. After seeing many different videos, your lessons seem to interest me the most. I just want to say to you, YOU ARE THE BEST TEACHER I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS IN MY LIFETIME. I am undersdtanding pretty fast and hope to speek by nov.
  • I would like to sincerely thank you for your videos. I've honestly learnt so much from you within a few days. More than i have during my entire Spanish learning journey. Thank you a lot 🙏🏾

  • @Gul_rukh
You my first Spanish teacher and I am glad I found your channel.
  • Dr. Evans, I would like to thank you for the wonderful lessons. They do help me as a teacher and do help my students. I give your videos as the home videos to work on and study, take notes or review. I also often use them in my class when I lose my voice from teaching 6 hours in a row. Gracias, Ud. es el mejor.
