  • I feel like, especially these days, everybody is struggling with mental health and could benefit from careful/ intentional therapeutic use of substances like these.
  • Seriously everyone listen to her! I used to get severe anxiety attacks literally for no reason. I told the doctors and told them it wasn’t mental and my body was literally just having a panic attack when I wasn’t even stressed out if that makes sense. I started taking magnesium glycinate everyday and they went away in a week! 4 years still going strong.

Totally works. I never felt so calm before I started taking 375-500 mg of Magnesium combined with B6, B1, B9 vitamins. My irritability went away, I can manage my thougths much better, I can react rationally through self talk. Game changer.
  • I cried the day a doctor told me that certain vitamins play directly into mental health. They started me on magnesium, vitamin D and B vitamins. The information seemed so basic that I couldn't believe I was never told this before. I was so happy to finally have a reason and something simple I can do to help myself

I was actually addicted to Crack. Also suffered severe depression for over 23 years. It's just amazing how psilocybin mushrooms work even more better than antidepressants. Saved me from addiction and depression. 6 years clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.
  • OMG! Ive been telling my doctor/therapist for years that one of the only things that has any impact on my anxiety is magnesium and they just looked at me like I was full of it! THANK YOU!
  • @AGoodHairDay
I’ve started taking magnesium once a day and it helps a lot with my physical symptoms of anxiety. Especially the muscle twitching and fast heart rate. Edit: Thank you for all the kind comments and questions. Was not expecting that. Please though do not take anything I say as advice as I am NOT a doctor. Always speak with a health care provider and/or physiatrist before taking anything, even supplements. Everyone is different and what works for one may not be appropriate or safe for another.
  • As someone who has had severe longterm depression , anxiety and undiagnosed mental health disorders, one of the best things I have done for myself in the last year was start taking magnesium. It has been life changing in terms of the extreme anxiety i used to deal with.

Dear Dr Marks, I want to thank you. A long story cut short, two aspects of my life changed in February 2022. I became so unbelievably inactive and would procrastinate for days over the simplest of tasks. I happened upon this video and decided immediately to try using magnesium. Seven weeks in I feel like my life has turned around. I am forever grateful. ❤

Nutrition AND a sufficient fluid (water) intake together with a focused daily/weekly sleep routine pattern is key to improving mental health.

This year I experienced panic/anxiety attack. It was a nightmare. The physical symptoms was frustrating. I was gg thru heart palpitations, chest discomfort, pulsing everywhere. Plus feeling hopelessness and almost slipped into depression. I couldn't understand why. Always been an optimistic person. Until finally I found magnesium. Been 2 weeks on it and I have already claim myself back. I also drink coconut water coz of the potassium it has and how critical it is for the body. Damn its good to be alive again. Yeeeehawww.

For those of you who have never tried pumpkin seeds, they don't taste like pumpkin, and they are not overly hard or crunchy. It's more like eating nuts, and they're pretty good.

I have been taking magnesium and vitamin D as part of my supplement routine for several years and I def notice an affect on my mood when I forget to take them for a few days. Recently started my 16 year old on a supplement regiment with Mg and Vitamin D and its remarkable how much his disposition has improved.
  • @lothedon
The best sleep and relaxation I got has been by taking magnesium.

I just drank a warm glass of magnesium glycinate and it started to calm me and make me sleep in about 15 to 20 minutes. I have depression and GAD so I have issues with my sleep but this has worked faster than anything I've taken
