Fun Fact: Namor is based on the Mexican culture, but Mexico had a VERY REAL Black Panther, Gaspar Yanga was a prince of the king of Gabon who was captured and made a slave by the Europeans, he was taken to Mexico to die in the plantations,.. but with cunning he managed to free himself and many of his brothers, together they fled to the jungle of Veracruz, where armed only with stones and spears and a lot of courage and tenacity, they fought against the Europeans who were on horseback and with armor and iron weapons ready to kill all the runaway slaves, but with Yanga's leadership the runaways protected their community so well, that after more than 20 years of futile efforts and many deaths, the Europeans finally made peace with him and granted him his freedom and lands to live in and finally on August 10, 1609, the "'First free city of the American continent'' was founded, which today bears the name of Yanga in honor of such a brave warrior. https://youtu.be/sxYdlOOMJuE

I didn't completely love this movie but the acting performances were TOP NOTCH. Angela Bassett's, Lupita Nyongo's and the chick that played Riri Williams was DOPE. Letitia Wright's performance as Shuri was very emotionally driven when you realize she's the last of her family line until you see T'challa's son with Nakia which just prolongs family line to another generation is awesome writing. Tenoch Huerta's performance as Namor was awesome. Also the visual effects, use of music and action sequences especially Okoye's fight with Attuma and Atlanteabs was cool.

Hats off Ryan Coogler, he’s a freaking genius, this is not a perfect movie, but he did his best, with what he had to work with, as it relates to the passing of Chadwick, this was a very fun movie, action packed, superb acting, a great, great story line, CGI/ visual effects was better than the first. Planning on seeing it a second time.

To lose its star, not just its star, but one of the top Marvel characters ever and transition this well to a new Black Panther makes it a masterpiece. Look at all of the failed and not so good super hero movies where the original star was replaced. Emotional movie as well.

I like that they made a small tribute to Natasha since she sacrificed herself in endgame. The electric spears look pretty dope and clearly can work as a defensive and offensive measure so why not use it Okoye?
