We all know wheel bearings wear out and the time will come when you need to change them. Let Kristen show you how to check if your wheel bearings are going out and if they are we'll show you what it takes to change them. Running a wheel bearings until it completely fails can be costly so it's best to replace before you have to replace more than just the bearing.

  • Nice video only suggestion would be to show or provide tips on how to remove the bearings without a press and how to insert them. The answer? You can use a torch to heat the outside of the hub housing. This will expand the hub bearing diameter just a tab and make it much easier to hammer out with a brass punch or properly sized punch. Then you can place your new bearings in the freezer overnight and they will basically drop into place. Freezing them shrinks them ever so slightly.

  • You should specify the year because on my 2017 the snap ring is on the inside and the bearing comes out and goes in the exact opposite of your video.

    on the instructions, it says to apply Loctite 603 retaining compound to the outside surface. Is that mandatory or not?
