  • A cute easter egg I like from MM : the guy working the night shift at the Clock Town Trading Post is a fan of the Indigogos. He'll be all flustered if you talk to him as Mikau !
  • You can also flip the tektites in OOT using the Megaton hammer. This also works for Torch Slugs.
  • During the Igos boss fight at the Ikana Castle, if you equip the Captain's Hat in front of him, you will obtain a special cutscene. You can also use the Bremen Mask during the fight with the two skeletons at the start, and they will follow you.
  • When you learn the Song of Storms in Ikana Graveyard, it says "you remembered the Song of Storms" not learned like usual, which I thought was a neat fact since Link already learned it before
  • the swordsman training seems to record your button input, not actions, so slashing with the C button instead of B is wrong, that's why the jump attack still worked xD
  • I have two obscure bits, both of which are true. (You can still try them out) Link's Defensive Reflex: when Link breaks free from a Redead's paralysis, he takes half a step back, and he grips whatever's in his hands with both, including the boomerang, bottle, hookshot, and so forth. The best place to test this is the grave of the Composure Brothers, where you can lead a Redead into the bog. On the side, the Redead's paralysis also disrupts the animation for Din's Fire. Poe Puzzle Parkour: one of the poe sisters in the Forest Temple requires you to solve a block-pushing puzzle within a time limit. If you take too long, the blocks rise up in the air and rotate once. It's possible to push the blocks into position so that when they rotate, it'll be into the solve. Link can also stand on top of these blocks when they rise up.
  • @Jestiphur
Fun fact about the Woodfall temple. I didn't know this until recently while doing a randomizer, but you can throw a bomb on to the weird flower eyeball platforms in the poisonous water and they'll eat the bomb until it explodes. Afterwards, any form of Link can safely step on them.
  • After freeing Pamela's father from the curse he will give you special dialog for every transformation mask you are wearing! The gibdo mask has special dialog as-well!
  • While you can use the gibdo's mask to not be attacked by gibdos and redeads, you can also use the garo's mask or the captain's hat. The redeads in ikana castle will even dance if you wear them. Also, setting a gibdo on fire will cause its bandages to burn and turn into a readead
  • I so miss the Deku Scrubs being an important Race; like the Gorons and Zoras!
  • You know in oot. Gossip stones were rockets as well
  • 14:11 - I've known about this one for years! Its cause the Scarecrow doesn't actually teach you the songs as there is no cutscene or anything, just them telling you if you play the Song of Time in different ways it will trigger different effects! Basically the Scarecrows are just giving Link a hint rather than teaching him new songs as they are really just the Song of Time played backwards or doubling the notes!
  • I have an obscure fact. You can actually spin attack with the Great Fairy's Sword. If you press the c button AND the b button (c button about half a second before the b button) and hold both, it will let you charge a magic spin attack with the Great Fairy's Sword.
  • "Ocarina of Time's Gorons deal with heat." Wrong. Ganondorf forced them into starvation to try to get the Spiritual Stone in the child time, then took them to feed to Volvagia in the adult timeline.
  • @rdady0
I'm not sure if it works in MM, but in OOT, if you hit the gossip stones when they are blue or red after hitting them with a bomb, they will stay that color. They will also flatten temporarily when hit with the Megaton Hammer or a Goron punch and spring back up.
  • Yeah apparently Gorman's stomach couldn't handle the high-quality Chateau Romani to SUCH a degree that he soiled himself in his sleep, losing part of his life essence in the process. Luckily, his bed happened to be RIGHT over the bathroom. It's why you get the piece of heart from Mr. Hand in there.
  • The algae looking like a N64 controller might actually be true, but not because it looks like a Rorschach test. A lot of sprites and images look a LOT different on a CRTV vs modern LED screens. This might be one, because I can kinda see the buttons (even the blue A button) on the algae, but it's just slightly... off.
  • I think Anju is actually the daughter of the foreman. In Ocarina of Time the foremans son is the kid who sits under the tree at Kakariko Village, and the "Anju" is his sister. So maybe in Majoras Mask its still the same situation and the construction workers think of her like a little sister because she's the foremans son? They're probably mad that Keifei left Anju with no word.
  • Did you know that if go to the laundry pool in Clock Town as zora link, you can do a side hop from a little bit up the hill that makes up the entrance and climb onto the wall? This is a great method for skipping a big chunk of the Anju and Cafe quest as you can walk along the wall and with the right position do a side hop and jump attack to enter the loading zone behind the locked door where you would normally collect a number of key items, and you can collect them with this trick without normally having the quest progression to be allowed in.
  • @Tyger355
I legit thought the Goron could punch out the boulder haha. I even remember the guy with the pickaxe thanking you for clearing it out, and that it would have taken him 2 whole days (or one more whole day if you did it on the 2nd day) had you not come along. But, childhood memories are funny like that sometimes
