whether you make beats on a computer or from real hardware, the people really don't care where it comes from especially if its a hit. so I give big ups to all creative artist no matter what method they are using to compose.

"oh this beat you made is fire, here's a hundred dollars, we produced this together now" That alone sums it all up

DJ Khaled is a great example of how important communication and networking are in the music business. People who can talk and sell themselves do better than quiet talents
  • @SHABEATS
There are producers, there are beatmakers and there is dj khaled. He is a living Meme. 🙏🏻
  • @prodbyhostile
Just bcuz it's easier now doesn't mean everyone's good at it.
  • He basically gets everyone together like the avengers and becomes the hypeman
  • @kiya7784
the real question is do you know what he's sayin?
  • @asatourianR
A real talent doesn't need to try to convince others that he's legitimate. The work and the talent sells itself.

Dudes about to have a heart attack from how much he likes to hear himself talk... "It takes a great producer like me" "I'm a great executive" "i'm a machine"
  • @ashconbeats8414
I still wouldn’t call him a producer or a beat maker he’s more like a man with ideas and connections and gets things moving!

2:47 He lost me when he called using a DAW "too easy". Granted, using the basic functionality of a DAW is objectively easy. But; you still have to be a fantastic musician to make truly original music with one of the pieces of software. They're just a brush in the hand of an artist.
  • @RiZeLegiT
he's about to have a heart attack explaining himself lol
  • @elidjaafer2160
A musician is a person who makes music no matter the way he does.

Khaled is really just an executive producer (creative director) that works with music producers and artists to develop records. It's a skill, but it's highly reliant on the the talent and skill of those that he works with. Creative direction won't get you anywhere without great creators.

having an ear for music and putting it together is a skill. If it were so easy then everyone would be doing it.
  • @barron4755
I think he's all talk - He probably listens to Productions - gives his opinion - and that's the extent of it !!
  • Khaled: ayo man, ever hum before? Dude: yea Khaled: that's producing fool
