Congratulations young lady! Not only was this a NATIONAL record but one that stood for 40 YEARS! You are unrivaled right now. I hope you achieve all your goals and dreams.

I really liked her when I saw her run so well. And now that she mentions by name the previous record holder and how gracious she is with her praise of her and her team mates I like her even more.

Dear Ms. Leachman. The Texas Relays have brought you onto my radar. Blown away! Went back and watched your win at Nike Indoor Nationals as well as Footlocker XC Championships. More WOW! Please please please just continue to have fun. You more than seem to have a great support group around you. Even if you never win another race, you've got a fan here. Thanks for putting in all the hard work and bringing your brand of special to the national spotlight. It is refreshing. Wishing you nothing but good health and good times.

What an amazing individual and what a phenomenal talent she has for long distance running. Listening to her interview was a lot of fun, too. She deserves everything she works for and gosh, she's just a blessing for the world.

For so young, this lady is articulate, composed, smiling and knows how to speak to the press. Now I'm a fan and can't wait for her to do very well in other distance events. I would like to see her at the Olympic trials. Oh, it would be an interesting race against Sadie Englehart in the mile or 1500 meters.
