In my opinion Mickey Thomas has one the best underrated voices in rock!

Jane was released in 1979 and 44 years later it's still fire. Mickey Thomas's voice is simply incredible, such a great song.

Mickey Thomas was simply an outstanding vocalist and often overlooked during his run. "Miracles" is still one of my all-time favorites from them.

They say the music you hear when you're 12-13 imprints on you. This song proves it. I was 12 1/2 when it came out. It's in my DNA.

One of the most criminally underrated lead guitars on this song. Craig Chaquico absolutely shreds and pushes this song to the next level.

I can remember hearing this on the radio for the first time. I was blown away. The vocals, the guitar solo, the drive of it. That's rock n roll, baby! Unforgettable.

The drummer is Aynsley Dunbar, one of the greatest rock drummers in history. He was also the drummer for Journey for a number of years.

I think what everyone needs to acknowledge first off when it comes to Jefferson Starship is Mickey Thomas’ amazing vocals. He is one of the most underrated yet one of the all time great rock and roll lead singers. His range is ridiculous and right up there with the best of the best. He sang on the Elvin Bishop song “Fooled around and fell in love” and nobody really ever acknowledged it was him or put two and two together to say “Hey! Isn’t that the guy from Jefferson Starship?” Give this man credit - he is probably one of the top 3 greatest lead singers of all time.
