“If you can’t listen for 5 minutes you’re not going to make it” The video goes for 28 minutes. Best lesson in sales right there
  • @AlexJ1
Introverts, in my experience, make the best salespeople. No flashy gimmicks, no tricky wordplay, just simple, respectful, direct communication about what is and isn't possible.
  • Crazy that honesty was the first one. Yesterday I made an agreement that I would never lie to sell for any company. I can only thrive when I’m truly helping people
  • The fact that this video is free and teaches more than most courses combined is wild. You’re an angel on earth

  • Simon: “if you don’t watch this video you’re not going to make it”, “watch the points at the end of this video”, also Simon 10 seconds later: “don’t manipulate people with words.”
  • My sizzle is to have every student learning how to properly read. Thanks to you, Simon, I am currently working on a literacy app that will teach students to learn how to read. You’ve truly been an inspiration, coming from a teacher who has never taken a business course in her life. So thank you for all the free knowledge that you give people. I couldn’t have started this journey without you.

As someone who has been in sales for over seven years and have performed at the higher levels, I can say that this is pretty much sum everything up, including what I’ve done. Like he said, you’re selling your own one sale is great, but hundreds of sales years later is even better and you can sleep at night.

We really need some honesty and real authenticity back in business. Warren Buffet says he will never make a deal with a dishonest businessman. People really deserve better! For so many years I’ve hated sales but just watching your video made me realise why. Thank you

"Quicker you go up, the quicker you go down" This among plenty other notes hit hard today. Seeing past errors in business and learning here helps a lot Simon, thank you! In positive news I'm using the advice of "continue selling to the same clients" by overdelivering on a client's videos who took a chance on me! It all comes around!
  • @JenMantakul
Being authentic, connecting, having a team around you. Being MAD. Love it!
  • @homie3394
You laid a strong foundation on the importance of purpose in businesses in me, I have been blindly following anything I saw. Thanks for sharing this wisdom for the public without any bs courses

In my line of work, we have managers who are highly promoted. Under them I felt powerful, but I saw the underhanded techniques they used. Instead, there is this one manager, who everyone says should be more authoritative and commanding, but in the end everybody just likes to work for him and him only. He's just friendly and honest. While everyone was debating on how to not pay penalties for the bad work we delivered, he was like, why not pay and show that we know we've done a bad job? I don't think he'll remain in our project, but I know when he matches with a good senior manager and a decent client, he's gonna remain for 10+ years
  • @Jamesaflacey
This is probably the best sales info I’ve ever heard. It’s refreshing in the sea of noise that only preaches give/take, maybe even just take. Thanks Simon! Authenticity is king!
  • @craig-robinson
This is by far the best sale video I’ve come across. The amount of pressure sales tips, manipulation techniques and word track videos is astounding. I really respect this way of selling. I’m less than a year into my sales career and I’m doing better than the average person due to the honesty discussed here. I have a long way to go before I’m up with the very best, but I’m here, I’m willing and I believe in myself and my ability to succeed. Thank you Simon. You’re a great man.
  • @BingtheLizard
Being authentic means a lot to me. Hearing that it's a help rather than a hindrance in sales is truly encouraging. Cheers.
